mumbled "1D3D: This Is Us- My Experience"
In case the title of this mumble (?) didn't give you a hint as to what I'm going to be talking about today, then let me just start this off by saying that after many months of agonizing waiting, I finally saw This Is Us! (I'm now going to talk about when I saw the movie, but feel free to ignore this useless bit and just comment on your own thoughts below; I would love to hear what you thought of the movie!) It felt as if news of the film was just announced last week, but on Friday (30 August 2013) I had planned to meet up with two of my Directioner friends to go to the cinema and see what was surely to be the best movie ever (or of the year, at least, considering how frequently I watch movies). Basically, our plans fell through, and I sadly did not get to go see my five favorite idiots prance around in 3D that Friday. Sunday, however, I convinced my parents to let me see the movie after church, and it was then decided that I would go with my mother and little sister. Joy. But, hey, at least as I was finally seeing the movie. We purchased tickets, entered our designated theatre, and it was empty. Keep in mind, the movie was set to begin in around 20 minutes, and when I say empty, I mean every single seat was unoccupied, and we literally had the entire theater all to ourselves. Naturally, we chose the best seats, right in the center, and sat there eating junk food as useless ads played, as you normally do at the cinema. As the lights dimmed and the previews for new films started playing, a couple groups of people walked in, each one filled with younger girls (ranging from I'd say 6-11, perhaps) and their chaperon(s). It quickly became apparent that I was the oldest person there- excluding the parents, of course,- and I wanted to cringe at the little girl who decided to sit behind me and comment on every single preview (including singing along to the Tayor Swift diet coke advert). As the movie started, I would say there were 15 people max in the theater now, and fortunately for me, the little girl behind me shut up about five minutes into the film. The movie itself was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the effects added to their performance/concert shots [SPOILER (kind of, not really, lol): I especially appreciated Harry's pants being pulled down in 3D during WMYB] and thought that it lived up to all my expectations. All in all, the experience was enjoyable, the film was amazing, and my mom is now a Niall girl.
Cheers.há 6 anos atrásBut who cares if there are younger fan girls. It's not just teens who can like whateverhá 6 anos atrás@Dollie Yeah, I felt a bit odd being sat next to all the younger fans too, but then again, there are fans older then me (like in their early twenties and beyond) so they probably feel the same about me. xD That's just life I guess. :) xx Lexie
mumbled "Don't Let Me Go"
What are your thoughts on Don't Let Me Go? I personally cannot stop listening to it. ♡ Anyone fancy a one-shot/short story based on Don't Let Me Go while I finish typing up the new chapter for Life's Melody? Let me know your thoughts and I might do something to that affect if I get some positive feedback. :) xx Lexiehá 7 anos atrásI personally think it's amazing! I haven't stopped listening to it!há 7 anos atrásSame! I'm listening to it right now actually. ♡ (Kind of embarrassing how obsessed I am with it, to be honest, haha.) :) xx
- As you all already know if you read my other fan fiction, Babysitting Baby Lux, tomorrow (May 12) is my birthday. :) I have yet to write up a new chapter for this story, but as a birthday gift I decided to add in photos for each chapter. Tell me what you think! <3 xx
- Sorry for the wait guys; I've been super busy lately, but since my birthday is tomorrow (May 12) I decided to stop making excuses and just type something up for you guys. :) I hope you like it. <3
