Emily is a fan of One Direction. She's not a die hard fan with posters covering her walls and she doesn't know every detail of their lives, but she is a fan of them. In the past she has never had luck in contests, that's her mother who always wins. But win a contest to have One Direction come and live at your house for a week comes up, she wants to win. She enters the contest and well... read to find out!

1. Contest

I pulled up to my beach house on my blue bike. I rolled it into the three car garage, that didn't have a car in it, and placed my bike in the middle. I walked up the steps of the garage and entered my house. Yes, my house. I was 19 and had been living here by my self for a few months now. It was a really big house. It used to belong to my parents but they never used it. On the main floor there was a large kitchen and family room with a library/ my office near the front door. Upstairs was 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. And then there was a staircase going up to a tower, but that door was locked. I had never seen the inside of it. It was my dream to have a tower, and now that I had one, I couldn't see it.

The basement is where the most fun happens. There's a movie theater down there, my music room, which I never used, and a game room. But I never really went down stairs much, I usually just stayed up on the main floor. I walked into the kitchen and pulled my ipod out and turned on One Direction.

I was a fan of them, I will admit that. But I wasn't like most fans who covered their walls with posters of them and stalked them on twitter. I just enjoyed listening to them, and someday hopped to meet them. I knew that it would never happen. But it never hurt to dream, right?

I started making a sandwich while softly singing the words to 'They Don't Know About Us'. When I was done I sat down at the computer which was in the kitchen and started looking up news and stuff. The first thing I saw was a contest. ENTER TO WIN TO MEET ONE DIRECTION it read. I clicked on it and started reading.

It was a contest to meet them alright, but it wasn't just to meet them. It was to have them stay with you at your house for an entire week. I wanted to win. I entered all the necessary information to win but stopped right before I clicked enter.

I knew I wasn't going to win. I had never won a contest before. That was always my mom. She was the lucky one who won every contest she entered. I paused and stared at the enter button thinking. I knew I wasn't going to win, but it wouldn't hurt to try. So I clicked it. Another page popped up and I read it slowly.

'Thank you for entering. We will let you know on May 17 who the winners are. We will call and email you if you are the winner. Thanks again and good luck!'

May 17? That was tomorrow. I looked at my iPod and double checked the date. Yep, today was May 16. And tomorrow I would find out if I won.
