For starters, stay away from electronic devices. The light of the screen actually forces your brain to stay awake, making you even more tired. Close your eyes and plan stories in your head - that's what I do, and it really helps :)

Try meditating for ten minutes before you plan on sleeping, just try to keep your mind as empty as possible. That's what I usually do. Otherwise, I try to tire myself out as much as possible.

Thanks so much! Tonight I'm gonna try to meditate, turn off my computer, and plan stories in my head! Counting never works for me haha. I hope this works!

Tomorrow is my last day of home school, potentially ever. This fall I'm going to attend the local high school! If all goes well I'll eventual graduate from there, but if it's horrible I'll start home schooling again. Hopefully that won't happen, as it's quite annoying be home nearly 24-7 with your whole family xD

When's everyone else getting out of school?

Well, Sam, since 3rd grade I've been homeschooled, and I never really liked it because spending all of that time, nonstop, with your family can really get on your nerves. A few times I completely broke down because I was so lonely and fed up with my family.

I used to be a social butterfly, but now I'm cripplingly shy, something I want to try to get over. Don't get me wrong, it's not homeschoolings' fault, it's mostly traveling. However, now that we've settled down, going to high school is pretty much the only way to make friends. You generally don't see 14 year olds hanging out where you can go up to them and introduce yourself. Think about it, after about 12 you stop making friends at the park etc, most-if not all-of your friends come from school.

Not to mention the clubs that I could be part of, like the student paper, or the year book, where I could work on journalistic writing and potentially get to use a camera to photograph sporting events. Plus sports, which I've never had the opportunity to try.

I feel like I've already missed out on a lot of things that come with growing up, I don't want to miss out on high school too. I know it won't not be great 100% of the time, I don't want it to be, but I do want to try it. I want to be able to learn from it.

My friends' sister is graduating in a couple weeks, and she has helped me with what classes I should take freshman year (etc.) so my senior year will be easy. Also, I've learned from my other friends' mistakes, her being a freshman last year. I know it might be hell, but I'd rather experience said hell than live my life never knowing what would have happened.

And that's the end of my report XD

Hey, good for you :) Yes, high school can be an absolute pain, but it's also really good, too, like what you said. I hope all goes well, come the day!
