Oh to be a monster and not feel love.

To bargain remorse for levity and wings for burnt out stumps.

But oh to be a monster and sing a song of your own.

Of notes that speak lies

Where freedom is not a right but a wrong.

Oh to be left with a head full of choices,

Empty of people’s laws and

Free to be a monster with a love of your own.
