The Story of Koko Slick

On the planet Flukupra, the Yalis is a species just like the humans, only they aren't violent in any way. Suddenly, the biggest city in the world starts getting a bunch of homicides. City police can't figure out what's being used for attack so they call in Mr. Koko Slick, the smartest man in the world, to uncover the mystery and stop the murders from happening. He stops at nothing to make sure that whomever is behind this is captured. Only he has no idea what is at stake.

2. Present Time

I've lived my whole entire life in this city and never once thought about leaving. Where would I go? This is the largest city on the planet, and I can't just up and leave the people that rely on me. Here I go again making excuses to justify my reasons for staying. My wife, Phira, and I have constantly been arguing about this for the last two months. Even though I'm strutting through my neighborhood without her, I still feel as though I need to elaborate the reasons why I can't leave.

In this city I was given the "Smartest Man Alive" award. It's like I was being handed the key to the city. Like I was a hero that saved them. Simply put, I'm a scientist. My father started teaching me when I was four years old. Science is all I know. I don't believe in heroes and I don't believe in happily ever afters.

As I come to a halt at an intersection, I look up at the sky. It's a beautiful day with the sun beating down. If I look close enough I can see the two moons beyond the suns brightness. The crosswalk makes a ding sound and I continue on my exercise.

Up in the distance is a bus stop with ten people waiting for the bus. My species in plain. Nothing too exciting. We are just like the human race, but have no intention on killing our planet. Many mistake us for them, but we aren't. We don't seek out destruction. We don't see to kill each other based on our religious beliefs. We do have criminals that kill and steal, but no one ever tempts the police department.

The bus stops and everyone stands up from siting position to enter the bus. As the last one leaves the covered bus stop area, a huge sing is shown. Most of the time these signs would be advertisements, but with the recent events that have taken place, all of these signs are by the police.
