One Of The Originals (Vampire Diaries- FanFic)

First and for most I would like to say that all rights go to L.J Smith for writing such an amazing book and Julie Plec and the producers of the CW show The Vampire Diaries. I do not own anything from the show or book. Some characters will be the same as the show but I will not take credit for them. Thank you! x
This is the story about a vampire named Jessica. She's not just any old vampire, she's an original. Her brother, Niklaus (Klaus for short), daggered her along with the rest of his family. One day, he needs help. So he goes to undagger Jessica. But of course, if your brother kills you I'm sure you would be very ticked off. So will Jessica ever be able to forgive Klaus and help him or will she turn her back on him? Hmmm. Intense. Read to find out what happens.

1. Wake Up, Dear Sister

This is my first Vampire Diaries fan fiction! I originally started writing it on wattpad but I decided to move it. As I update on Wattpad I will copy it to here! I hope you all enjoy it. Please fan, comment, and fav! Enjoy. (:

<3rd person>

Klaus was walking through the long line of storage compartments searching for one with his belongings. It took him a minute but he finally found what he was looking for. He smirked and open the door. There was nothing more than a wooden coffin.

He didn't hesitate to open the lid. Inside there was a girl. Her skin was grey and veiny. Obviously from the dagger sticking out of her heart. Klaus stroked the 'dead' girls cheek. He smiled. He placed his hand on the dagger sticking out of her heart.

"Wakey, wakey, dear sister. We need to have a chat." He said before pulling out the dagger.

It was twenty minutes after opening the coffin and his sister still wasn't awake. Klaus leaned up against the wall on the other side of the room. "Come on, I don't have all day." He said to no one.

As if on cue, the color started coming back to his sister's skin.

"Oh Clare, come in now. She's going to be hungry." Klaus said and a girl walked in the room. She was obviously compelled. The girl wasn't scared at all by the fact that she is about to be vampire food.

A loud gasp came from the coffin and then a whooshing sound. His sister was no where to be found. Klaus remained still.

"Come on out, Jessica. I brought you a snack." Klaus said pushing the girl to the middle of the room. Out of no where Jessica came and sunk her teeth into the poor girl. She didn't scream or move. She just stood there until she fell limp. Jessica dropped her to the ground and she was lifeless.

<Jessica's P.O.V>

I sucked the life out of the girl. Literally. But hey, who cares? I didn't know her and I was starving. She fell limp and I dropped her to the ground.I wiped the remaining blood off my face.

"Feeling better?" A voice asked.

I turned to face my brother, Klaus. He had his usual smirk plastered on that stupid face of his.

Klaus. He daggered me. My own brother daggered me. And I was sure as hell ticked. I felt rage come over me. I wanted to kill Klaus. Without hesitation I grabbed him by the throat and pinned him to the nearest wall so he couldn't move.

"Aw, come on now, sweetheart." He said with amusement in his eyes. "Don't be like this."

"Give me on reason why I shouldn't kill you!" I snapped.

"Because we're family." He said innocently.

I scoffed. "Hardly."

"Come on, you can't be that mad at me." He said.

"You locked me in a box!" I growled.

"Oh right, I did."He said. "Don't be like this, Jessica. I need your help."

I laughed. "Why in the world would I help you, Nik?!" I yelled letting go of his throat. "You daggered me!"

"You and I both know you can't kill me." He said taking a step closer to me. "And if you even think about trying I will make sure you are locked in that box just like you have been for over a century."

That surprised me. Have I really been dead for a century?! The last thing I remember was watching a bunch of vampires burn in a fire. That was back in 1864. Then next thing I know, I'm being daggered from behind and I saw Klaus right before I blacked out. He must have found me. I knew I should've kept running. I tried not to let the confusion and surprise show on my face but Klaus smirked as he could see right through me and my attempt to hide my emotions.

"What exactly do you need help with?" I asked.

Klaus smiled as if he just won. Even though I still haven't agreed to it. "I need you to help me break the curse that keeps me from my werewolf side."

I literally laughed out loud. "You're kidding me right?!"

His face remained serious.

"You actually think you are going to break the curse mother put on you!?" I frowned. "Good luck with that. You have to find the moonstone and a doppelganger and last time I checked, you're doppelganger is a vampire." I crossed my arms and smirked. The thought of Katherine sickened me. I did not like her one bit and I'm pretty sure if I saw her, I would kill her.

"Well good thing I know where the moonstone is at." He said.

"You do?"

"Well, no but I know people who are looking for it and they will just lead me right to it."

"That still leaves you short a doppelganger." I raised an eyebrow.

"I will figure something out." He said.

"So who knows where the moonstone is?" I asked.

"Mason Lockwood." He said. "Silly little things. Think they can use that to break "The Sun and Moon curse."

I groaned. "Really? A Lockwood has it? Ugh.. I hate werewolves. They're pest."

Klaus rolled his eyes. "Are in or not?" He asked.

"Do I have a choice?"

"Looks like I am in then." I said. But hey, once we get we are going. I'm out of here.

"Good. You're going to Mystic Falls." He stated happily.

"Are you kidding me?" I said.

He smiled. "Afraid not."

"Wait, what do you mean I'm going?" I said. "Aren't you coming too?"

"Nope. You are just going to retrieve my moonstone."

"Lovely." I murmured "But I need to go shopping first. I'm not going to fit in at Mystic Falls if I'm wearing these clothes." I said taking a look at my attire. I was wearing an off white long dress that went to the floor. It had long sleeves and it was low cut and had a lot of tool.

Klaus looked at me like I was mental.

"Uhm, sorry? I was locked in a box for over a century." I said angrily.

"And just when I thought we were past that." He said annoyed.

"Oh Nik." I said with a smile and I took a step closer to him. "We will never be past that."

He glared at me and I smirked.

"Shall we be off then?" I said acting cheerful.

"Let's go." He said emotionless. I rolled my eyes and sent him a dirty look from behind.

"Oh my god! Is this really what people wear now days?!" I said looking in a full length mirror at a shop in Chicago since we had to go through it to get to Mystic Falls, Virgina. Klaus didn't acknowledge my question. I was wearing blue denim skinny jeans and blue t-shirt top along with some boots that go up to my knees. I couldn't go all fancy because I wouldn't blend in with the people in Mystic Falls. Which sucked. I added a beanie to my outfit. That was probably the only thing I liked. It suited my long, light brown hair and blue eyes very well.

"Are you done yet?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, I guess." I had dozens of clothes bought anyway. It's not like I needed more. I put my dress in with one of my other shopping bags and wore what I had tried on out of the store. After we paid of course.

I threw my bags in the bag of Klaus' car and hoped in the front.

"Where we off to now?" I asked.

"To go get my moonstone." Klaus said.
