The Young Graphic Artist Prize, sponsored by Death & Co

CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Illustrate characters from an incredible new series and you could win a MacBook Air and kickstart your artistic career!

You might already have been swept away by the incredible Death & Co, entranced by our extract or even entered the Death & Co inspired Afterlife contest. Well, now we have something even more exciting for you!

Three cards relating to Death & Co's main characters have been created (and if you click on the card you will be directed to extracts from the book that should help you) - your task, if you choose to accept it, is to create artwork for them. Pencils or paint, photos or photoshop - be as creative and imaginative as you can. Take inspiration from your favourite graphic novels, manga series, illustrators, artists or comics.

To enter, simply create a new movella with the title "Death & Co art" and then name your chapters after the character you have chosen. You can then add your image to the movella. Each drawing is a separate entry and will be judged individually.

A fourth option, if drawing people (or lumans...) isn't your thing, is to take the book's strap line "There's more to life than death" and create artwork or illustrations with this as your inspiration. Make this your chapter title for entries of this kind.

Enough of the details, you probably want to know more about the prizes, right?

The top prize is a MacBook Air 11" 64MB with full Adobe Creative Suite.

On top of this, if you win, you may have the potential to be commissioned by Death & Co. book publisher, Hot Key Books, to work on future promotional artwork for the series (see Terms & Conditions for details)
The competition will be judged by a panel made up of Movellas staff, D.J. McCume and Hot Key Books. Find out more about Death & Co and the author here.
Good luck!
