The Movellas Team consists of
Joram Felbert
CEO and Founder of Movellas
Skye Smith
Community Manager (UK/US)
Skye is a Community Manager at Movellas. She holds a Master's degree in Linguistics from Aarhus University and a Bachelor's in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Skye has always loved reading books, especially the long, endlessly poetic ones found in her favorite period of English Literature, Romanticism. Skye is responsible for judging competitions, writing the latest blog posts, editing and sharing amazing stories from our users, and managing the thriving writing community that can be found on Movellas.
Fun fact: In kindergarten, Skye wasn't allowed outside for recess because she would only wear one shoe to school. Convinced she was Cinderella, Skye spent an entire week inside with no lunch break until she learned better.
Favorite Authors: Daniel Defoe, Virginia Woolf, Edgar Allen Poe, Elizabeth Gaskell, Henry James, William Blake...

Helena Lyng Blak
Community Manager (DK)
Helena first came to the site in 2012 as a user, until she was hired as a Community Manager in April 2015. When not reading on Movellas, she's studying Comparative Literature at the University of Copenhagen. She loves everything from gothic poems to postmodern novels to Baz Luhrmann films, as long as the story is ambitious, poetic, and full of heart. Helena writes blog posts, creates and judges competitions, updates social media, and more on Movellas.
Fun fact: As a child, Helena's mother believed she was double-jointed and wouldn't let her play any sports in school for fear she'd hurt herself. Turns out she's not double-jointed, but that's the reason she's no good at sports to this very day, and prefers reading and writing instead.
Favorite Authors: Ernest Hemingway, Haruki Murakami, John Irving, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Michael Ende
Laura Gravesen
Community Manager (DK)
Movellas is not new to Laura as she's been a user since March 2011 and has spent years writing many fanfiction stories. She completed her secondary education in the summer of 2016 in social studies, English, and German. In general, she loves everything related to language and communication and found that Movellas has always been a place she felt safe and happy. Laura primarily focuses on fanfiction on Movellas and also creates writing contests and blogs, all the while constantly keeping an eye on new trends.
Fun fact: Laura not only writes fanfiction but also designs amazing covers for fanfics that would fool the very celebs that can be found on them, and otherwise makes the prospect of reading anything in these fandoms super exciting!
Favorite books and authors:  Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley, the Selection Series by Kiera Cass
Lisa Yan
Community Manager (UK/DK)
Lisa is a Community Manager and helps out on both the Danish and English site. She’s been a user since 2011 and started working part-time at the office in the beginning of 2017. She was an exchange student in the USA and is generally very fond of meeting people all over the world. She is very interested in psychology and would like to study Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Cambridge University after she graduates high school in 2018. She contributes to the site with blogs, banners, and judging competitions.
Fun fact: Lisa is terrified of dead birds.
Favorite books: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman, and 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher.
