That was interesting and I really enjoyed the third chapter...the emotions that Ariel felt after migrating and even her experience felt realistic, probably because I have experienced them. Your Ariel is way different from mine though. ;-)

Ariel Miller lost both the love of her life and their child in a horrific crash in 2010. 3 years have passed since then, and she moves from her one room apartment in Sydney - the city that holds too many...

A very true short story about dealing with the past when it resurfaces in a new relationship. 16+, deals with sexual abuse and trauma. For the On Dublin Street competition, but mostly for myself.

If I decided to mention all the songs that I would like in the tape, the list would be pretty long. So here are a few songs that my tape would feel incomplete without-
    1) A team by Ed Sheeran- A gentle song with dark lyrics, A Team is one of my personal favorites. It is also a reminder of the cold hard truth lying around us that we chose to ignore and he chose to bring up.
    2) Set Fire To The Rain by Adele- I love this song for its angry lyrics and because Adele's voice, if not growling, seems to be heavy with rage and sorrow.
    3) Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars- After listening to all the boys who have gone berserk at seeing their girls on the dance floor, I found this lover and his fondness for the girl's hair, eyes and smile rather sweet. A lovely song that makes you want to nod your head if not launch into a break-dance.
    4) Leave Out All The Rest by Linkin Park- Heart-wrenching lyrics and a passionate and pleading voice singing them. What more could a listener ask for?
    6) All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey- There are few things better than listening to festive songs when a festive atmosphere hangs around you. But don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things that I would like for Christmas.

I would like to hold to the key to Wonderland. Remember when Alice fell down the rabbit hole to find herself in a curious hall with many locked doors and then discovers a small key? Well, I would like that key and probably because I would love to meet the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit and the genius behind the riddle 'Why is a raven like a writing desk?'- the Hatter! This is how I picture the key-
It was small and buried in the shadows. Its size was deceiving because it was heavy when weighed on a palm. The key was coated with a color that was somewhere between black and golden brown. Despite the abuse of many years, the key was pleasant to sight, with only one rectangular bit, three circles of collars and a narrow stem that led to a coiled and complicated bow that resembled a crown.

My favorite number? 0. Of course 0 is considered an insignificant number and many people begin counting from 1. This I believe is pretty unfair as there is more to 0 'than meets the eye'. 0 is a pretty powerful number. Although neutral in addition and subtraction, it dominates in multiplication and division. Multiplying or dividing any number by 0 equals to 0. Placing a number before or after 0 also makes a huge difference. 70, for instance is ten times greater than 07.
