How to Get Our Stories Noticed

Okay, so for those brave souls who dared to enter here, welcome!! If you are here, that means you are serious about getting your books (movellas) noticed by more than just your grumpy cat.

So, I have been writing for like, 5 years, but didn't start sharing them until I was in the eighth grade. From then, I have tried multiple writing sites and techniques to get my stories notice; but to no avail.

So, here I am, stewing angrily about how I've been doing this for 4 years, yet I still can't get a ton of viewers like I hoped for. What the heck!?!?!?!

    Then, it came to me.

I'm not the only one who has 'issues' with getting my stories read; there are TONS of people who have that issue. IN fact, the really sad thing is that most of the things that aren't very well written (not all, but quite of few) are, like, wicked popular! Not only that, but I have read books by people online that, are like, SO GOOD, they should be published; yet, NO ONE reads what they write. It honestly breaks my heart.

To you who are reading; I KNOW how much it hurts to not have a lot of people read your work; I've been dealing with it for quite sometime, and I am SO SICK OF IT! That's why I am asking you, writers of all ages, to team up with me. I think I have found a solution that will fix all our problems.

    Ready?

Okay, so here's what I'm thinking: there are A LOT of us, right? And, we all want A LOT of viewers, right?

So, why don't we become the viewers? The fans?

Here's my idea: People will upload a link to their story and a description, along with genre if possible. Then, when we get enough movellas, Do a sort of trade off. Each person takes two-three stories, reads the first few chapters or the whole thing, and then fans that person and likes their story. Then, that person will turn to THEIR fans and send an announcement out, whether in a blog or in a little note before the next chapter in their book, to read/check-out fan, like, or whatever this story, and say why it would be awesome to check out.

Now, I know what you are all thinking: That's too much work!! I just want to get my story noticed, not others!!

Well, my wonderful and amazing dovies, that isn't how the world works; if YOU really want to get out there and get noticed, YOU have to work at it. It's not going to happen because you will it; it will only happen if you work at IT. Trust me, I know.

It will be slow-going in the beginning, but soon, you will get more fans. Your stories will get the attention you have always wanted them to get. Not only that, but as yours and others fans increase, then the more people you can let people know about others' stories, and vice versa. It'll all work out. We just need to stick together, and through teamwork, it will all work out in the end. It's not gonna be easy; nothing really ever is. It certainly isn't easy to do alone, but together, we might just make your dream come true.

    Ready?

    I am.

    Let's do this!!!
