The first video in my new DISCUSSION TIME series! Video 1: FEMALE CHARACTERS AND STEREOTYPES!
Check it out, and leave some questions for me to answer!
@[ Ahlaam Nightshade] It'd be cool to read a book where the gender roles are reversed, with it being in the point of view of a co-dependent male protagonist, but with the sort of character development that makes him go from being Bella Swan to Katniss!

@[Sophies Melody] Thankyou! I'll let you know when I do the next one!
     Ahlaam Nightshade
It would be really cool! The entire structure of the writing itself would be quite different. Yeah, that would be brilliant to read! Something like that would probably be a strong point in opposing stereotypes. Or even, an over-confident Katniss to a extra-dependent Bella Swan!
Oh my, I think that'd be so much fun to write, too!
     Ahlaam Nightshade
It would be really fun to write, yeah! Hmm, I'd definitely have a go at both, if I can get any plot ideas . . . Any ideas?

And sorry for the late reply!

Sounds interesting. Structure perhaps? It sounds boring but I struggle with that.
Structure of what, a story or a poem? :)

On Real Life Experiences and Writer's Block

I think that everything you experience in life will affect your art in certain types of ways. Whether that be marriage, divorce, good grades, depression... Everything helps to alter what we create for better and for worse. The mistakes we make allow us to let the characters on paper make those mistakes, for them to learn and develop just as we do, as people. Before I considered having writing as a career, my parents split up, and I started writing things down. When I knew what I wanted, I found someone who made my life better and even made me better, and I wrote more. Now I've lost that person, and I've realised something. I'm writing more. I'm writing with maturity and understanding of life, even though I'm only 17 years old. I know it might sound a bit pretentious, but I think my work is better now.
After a big change in my life, I experience writer's block. It's never an excuse, and I try to power through it, but I think a break was needed from writing. So I took that break, and now I'm having ideas, I'm having larger urges to sit in my bedroom and scribble things down in my notebook, or go for long walks and take pictures of things I like and write poetry about loving hating people and hating loving people.
I suppose what I'm trying to draw away from writing this down is that I might not be fully okay right now, but as long as I have my art and my friends and family, and of course my fabulous movellians, I can overcome just about anything, including the dreaded writer's block.
I'm so grateful for you guys.
I don't think I'm massively blocked now, but I have been for the last two weeks because of the break-up. I've managed to put all of my angry energy into writing last night, so I'm feeling better :3

Silver linings are always a good thing.

Ah. I take it the healing process is continuing? My dad says that a break-up might be mutual, but emotionally its like a divorce. That's never a good thing. But emotions usually put some kick into your writing, generally. I'm glad though, that you're feeling better.

Mm, yes. They certainly are. Sometimes they're hard to see, though.
This break up wasn't mutual, I got dumped XD
    Aunt Midnight Rogue ☕️
Ah, well, that's even worse XD But it happens to the best of us.
