Decided after years of writing for myself I'd try and share some of my stories and see how they're taken. Here's hoping for good news, but for every failure we only get stronger!

Recently I lost my best friend, we were more like sisters. We became friends in the 5th grade, where we bonded over gel pens. We stuck together through many moves, and fights through all life could throw at us. For 13 years we always had each others back, no matter the problem. Now heaven has a new angel. This is really interesting, and has a lot of promise. I like the way you've described this new world. Though the chapters are a bit short they're gripping, and I would definitely read more. The one thing I would say is maybe find something to call the children who have come of age. As calling them the fifteen-year olds is kind of awkward to read. Especially if they're going to be referenced multiple times in a chapter, or paragraph. It doesn't even have to be something terribly clever, could be as simple as the chosen, or maybe even the fifteens. Just a suggestion, but again good start!

Birthdays are meant to be happy, right? Not in this world. Years into the future, the human race was forced to leave Earth. Humans left their wasted planet behind them, in search of a newer, more habitable...

I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it being written in play form. (just not my personal taste in reading) But I like where the story is going. Its interesting, and makes me wonder if there's more going on then we first see. The characters are believable, and thankfully not ones I've seen over used a million times. But even in play form, as it is, I would defiantly continue reading to see where it is heading.

You know me well enough to know what's going to be in this. next time, don't rely on the blurb box to give you a summation of the story. If stories were supposed to be summed up, nobody would bother telling...

Well, thank you. Personally, plays aren't up to my reading glasses either. But I reckoned I always put almost too much convo into my stories, so I thought to experiment with it. Plus I have read a lot of plays, and some of them were remarkable. The key to enjoying a play is to remember that it's supposed to be watched rather than read. That's why some of them work better in comic book/manga form.

But thank you for the read. Out of general curiosity, are you new around here? ;3

Thanks for writing it. :) And sorta I made this account about a year ago I guess but didn't start really using it until around six months age. I haven't been doing much writing the last few months, due to the loss of my best friend, but recently decided to get back to it!

Thanks everyone! Glad this story went over so well. I'm debating adding to it but just not sure yet.

Sarah has been the target for one to many Halloween pranks, so tonight she plans on taking her revenge. But who'll have the last laugh when things don't go at all as planned.
