I think the simplicity of them all makes it impactful. Sometimes you read poems which are really long, not always a bad thing, but they're a bit overwhelming. These are more short and sweet type of thing that is a lot easier to read but still makes you feel things.

I totally forgot to reply to this! X'D

Thank you very much, that's actually really encouraging. I wasn't sure if people would like this kind of style. Judging by the stats so far I'm still guessing not many people enjoy it but I do, and that's what matters I guess.

I've always preferred shorter poems to longer ones, you're less easily distracted I find, and like you say, it's more powerful.

This is really intriguing! You keep a good pace, making it all seem dramatic and freaky at the same time.
Can't wait to read more! :) Definitely leaves you hanging with the sense that you want one know more (if there will be of course.)

I know I haven't been very active on the writing side of things for a while now. Most of this comes down to having a limited amount of time due to uni but I also think a lack of direction has been something I've been struggling with. I think this may have been the cause of why I stopped writing anything.

Over Christmas and the past few weeks I've a had a lot more time though! I've written more than I have in a while and I feel more confident about writing again. Especially because I've been ill for the past two weeks so I needed something to do whilst laying in bed. I've starting plotting out the plan of a book I really want to write (which is a good sign I think) and I'm really hoping to just focus on this and try to write something every day. I really want to finish it as a little problem with me is I always get so far with writing a book then hit a wall and start something new. This time I hope it will be different.

I can't promise any posting of the book on Movellas as I write but just know if I succeed in writing all of it I will definitely think about putting it on here. :) I think a main problem for me has been that I wasn't motivated enough myself to write, anything I was writing I felt like it was just to please other people and that's not really how it should be. You should write for yourself first and not anyone else. Sure sharing it is great afterwards though! It's just if you don't want to write personally, then it's going to be hard to write anything.

Sorry for the ramble but thought I would just talk about this. :)

@[Lily Anna] Welcome back! Sorry if I was late to this, I too went hiatus for a while. I'm back now, I kind of returned at the start of 2018. I did have a few visits back in December 2017 though.
