1. The Secret Castle-Part One

It had begun at number 4 Privet Drive. Harry Potter, who was eleven, stared out of the thin room where he was asleep, when he heard Uncle Vernon's deep voice waking him up. "No funny business. You know I hate magic. All of the talk of wizards and witches, and everything that concerns Lily and James Potter, isn't going to make things right, boy". Harry, who had short, black hair, rubbed at his scar which was on his forehead, with his left hand. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm a normal boy". On his left desk was his glasses. He put them on. Suddenly, as he left the room, he saw Dudley was eating a chocolate bar. "You're in trouble, Harry", he said. Harry saw Aunt Petunia was cooking breakfast: eggs, bacon, and toast. Of course she made sure that Dudley had nearly all of the food for her son; Harry went without as usual-as if he wasn't in the house itself. "Dad, is Harry going to the school for troubled children?", he asked his father. "Yes, unless there's someplace else for him to go to", he answered. Dudley grinned, as he sat down on one of the seat, and ate everything that was in front of him.

Harry, who lived under the stairs, was a solitary child. He didn't remember why he had survived. He wasn't like any other child in London, England, where the dreams of his dead parents preyed on his mind. He ignored the aroma from the small kitchen; he knew what it meant. Today was July 26.

~~~
Suddenly he heard the sound of whispers outside. "Funny weather today. The birds are flying in a frenzy". Harry Potter heard the talk; he was eager to think that the voices were of wizards who were wearing magical cloaks, hats on their heads, and boots on their feet. He noticed their wands were in their hands. Then, seconds later, they all vanished into thin air...and disappeared into the darkness.
By September 1, Harry Potter saw a tall giant watching his house. He blinked his eyes, as he walked out of the front door. "Who are you?", she asked him. "Rubeus Hagrid, Gamekeeper at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry", he answered. "I've never heard of it", he said. "You're parents, Lily and James Potter were there a long time ago; you're their son who is also a wizard". Harry gazed at him with a serious look that was etched on his young face. "I can't go", Harry stated. "Here's a letter from Professor Albus Dumbledore. Sign it. Here's a pen. Then you can get your books and items for school. Let's go!". And Harry Potter followed the tall giant through the brightly-lit cobbled streets of London Town, where his adventure was about to start.
The place was called Gringott's Wizarding Bank. Harry stared at the goblins who were counting wizard coins for everyone who went there. "Harry Potter wants to get his money from the vault", Rubeus said. The goblin stopped what it was doing, and grabbed its glasses with its right clawed hands. When Harry got his money, Hagrid smiled. "You'll be able to buy things now, Harry. I have other matters to attend to in Diagon Alley. It's over there. See!", he said. Harry nodded. "Yes, can I explore the place?", he asked him. "Yes", Hagrid walked away, and vanished through the mob of wizards who were getting their sons and daughters books, and wands, for the school term at Hogwarts.
Harry arrived at Ollivander's Wand Shop. It was an ancient looking place. Harry rang the bell with his left hand; he saw an old man smiling at him. "Ah, Harry Potter. You're looking for a wand, I see?", the man asked. "Ah, yes. I never used one before", he answered him. He looked at a dusty room. "There you go, Harry. You can use it", Mister Ollivander said. Harry gripped it in his right hand. "Illuminate!", he shouted. The wand glowed instantly. "Well done, Harry. Would you like to buy it?", he asked. "Yes, please", he answered. "Seven sickles". Harry gave him the money. "Please come again". "Good-bye!", Harry said. As he opened the front door, he saw a red haired boy who was tall for his age. He was with his brothers, and a sister. Harry smiled at them. "Hello, can you show me where to buy books, and a robe?", he asked him. "The Old Bookstore for Wizards", he answered. Harry nodded. "I'm Ron Weasley", he added. "Harry Potter", Harry said. "Wow! You're the most famous wizard apart from Who-Know-Who, and Professor Albus Dumbledore". Harry shrugged. As they went inside, they saw a girl pointing to six books. "I didn't know I was a wizard until Professor Dumbledore send me the letter". Next to her was her parents, who were dentists. "Hermoine Granger", Ron said. The girl smiled. "Ron Weasley. I heard about your family". She stared at Harry. "Harry Potter", Ron stated. "Hello", Harry grinned. Hermoine nodded. On a rack  were magical robes of all sizes. "All robes cost ten sickles", Hermoine said. Harry took out the money, and paid for it. Then he bought the relevant spell books. Once everyone was finished, the three children met Molly Weasley, Ron's mother. "Oh, dear goodness! Ron, you've been gone awhile". Arthur Weasley, who worked for the Ministry of Magic, smiled at Harry. "Ah, Harry Potter. I'm Arthur, Ron's father. You've met my wife, Molly".  He nodded. "I had to leave home to come here. It's better than being with Dudley, and my other family". He sighed. "We have to take the eleven o'clock train on the Hogwarts Express at platform 9 3/4 on September 1", Hermoine said excitedly. Harry nodded. He couldn't wait until then.
