Where Reminiscence Resides Pt. ll

Second part to Where Reminiscence Resides for the music lyrics competition.

Kinda always had all the parts to Where Reminiscence Resides stored in my documents. This contest gave me a good excuse to show another one. Enjoy.

1. Where Reminiscence Resides Pt. ll

We stand side by side looking over the edge

Watching all the stars fall into the palms of our hands

Well the tides have come and we’re looking out for a place to watch the comets race

From stained glass eyes and window panes

In an old oak house so far away

We were the broken ones

Scattered among the stars

Left to sift through sands made by hollow hope

We were androids

Holding balloons, showing this crowd that robots aren’t made of tin

So let's start from page one

And build our days from scratch

We stand side by side looking over the edge

Watching all the stars fall into the palms of our hands

We wish for coastlines to call home

Witnessing every moment exposed against the glow

As she trailed off from the world above

They called for a name

Until her framework shined like burning snow

The islands blazed

They were seen worlds away

We were the broken ones

Scattered among the stars

Left to sift through sands made by hollow hope

We were androids

Holding balloons, showing this crowd that robots aren’t made of tin

We allowed our rust to recede

Into the vastness of space

Nev, can’t you wish

For lands untold?

Onto infinity you went

Making coastlines and coves and capes

As the galaxies erode

Into a language fit for queens

Singing out the seasons

Forging crowns from suns

Dear, make shorelines from starnets

So our feet may kiss the beach

Dear, make shorelines from starnets

So our feet may kiss the beach

Dear, make shorelines from starnets

So our feet may kiss the beach

We stand side by side looking over the edge

Watching all the stars fall into the palms of our hands

We stand side by side looking over the edge

Watching all the stars fall into the palms of our hands

We wish for coastlines to call home

Witnessing every moment exposed against the glow

We were the broken ones

Scattered among the stars

Left to sift through sands made by hollow hope

We were androids

Holding balloons, showing this crowd that robots aren’t made of tin

So let’s start from page one

And build our days from scratch
