10. A phoenix arises

She was short. Very, very short. She didn’t look very dangerous, but she did look extremely angry, with her mud-green eyes narrowed and her thin lips pressed into a scowl. Her dark hair was tangled in its two lopsided pigtails and her fists were clenched at her sides, glowing slightly orange, her fingers making popping sounds when she released them as flames flew from her grip. Torn and three sizes too big for her, her clothes made her look like she'd been dragged through a field of barbed wire and her eyeliner, coating her eyelids and dribbling down both cheeks, looked like it’d been applied with a chunky crayon without the slightest amount o care. She looked, to Barry, like a complete and utter lunatic,Jemima was a pyromancer, this allowed her to create and manipulate not only fire but also heat. it was her arrival that probably explained the increased number of sprinklers, fire extinguishers and the odd fire mat. although that last one probably wouldn't do much against her raw power seeing as she had killed 9 people including Oscar who had been famed in the prison for biomancy, a power that only those with the most powerful will could resist.

it was an unspoken rule in the prison that you don't talk about what inmates had done to draw the governments watchful eye, but Barry with his enhanced senses didn't need telling, he could see it in her eyes and smell it on her clothes. she was an arsonist. And a pretty bad-ass one at that. Barry knew she had the raw power to kill almost anyone in here single handed. But that was no fun. Plus she knew that was no way to make friends.
