Please Kill Me

This is an after Undertale (Uppertale!) fanfiction with Sans x OC, Alpys x Undyne, and soon Papyrus x Mettaton. The OC is a neko, as in she looks like a human but has cat ears and a fluffy tail.

5. No Point

After hours, days, weeks, who knows how long, the police arrived. Sans had called them, terrified that Celeste hadn't come home. The cops had been searching the city when they found her, beaten and being raped in an alleyway. They took Celeste to the hospital and arrested the perpetrator. During this, Sans and all of the gang were sitting at Toriel's house, waiting.

Suddenly, the phone rang out. It was Sans' phone, and he answered it in a split second. Listening to the police's report, his worried expression turned to a mortified one. By the time he had finished the call, Sans was in tears.

"What's wrong, Sans? Is she- is she okay?" Toriel asked worriedly.

Sans noticed that Frisk looked scared. "Hey- hey, kiddo. Can you go to your room for a moment? The grownups need to talk for a bit,"

They nodded before running to her room. As soon as the door closed, Sans broke down. "Oh my god," he whispered.

Sans clutched himself, and Papyrus, who was sitting next to him, had to hold him close.

"They- they found- Celeste- in- an alley- with multiple- wounds- on her- body," Sans was barely able to get out a reply between sobs. "In- in the middle- of being- raped!"

Everyone there was mortified. Alphys whispered, "Not her," before starting to tear up, and Undyne gave her an embrace. Toriel bent over, sobbing, and Asgore put his face in his hands. Mettaton gasped and covered his mouth with his hand. Papyrus didn't know the word very well, but he knew the gist of it. He asked what everyone was thinking.

Sans froze before standing up and hurrying to the door.

"What is it?" Undyne asked.

"They said she was at the hospital, but that's all I know! I need to get there now!" he said.

Everyone immediately followed the sprinting Sans, and soon they were in the waiting room at the town's hospital. According to the lady at the desk, Celeste was okay, physically speaking. She had only bruises, cuts, and a mild concussion, and all of them would heal. Her mental state was a completely different matter. Celeste wouldn't speak or even move. She just sat, staring directly at the wall opposed from her. The concussion hadn't messed with her brain. But Celeste had no willpower anymore.

Finally they were allowed to see her, one at a time. Sans went in first. He wanted to grab Celeste and hug her, but according to the doctors, she wasn't responding well to any kind of physical contact. Instead he just walked in and sat at the chair next to her.

"Hey, Celeste,"

She said nothing. Any type of confrontation was met with utter silence. Celeste was trapped in a box, which there was no escape from. One at a time, the monsters went to see her. All were met with silence. After days, the hospital had to make her leave. She had no physical injuries, so there was nothing they could do. Celeste was scheduled for therapy, but nothing helped. She did slowly start to respond to others, but barely. She still couldn't stand anyone touching her. She spoke, but only when spoken to. She felt that there was no point in living, but no point in killing herself either. She didn't feel there was a need or want to do anything.

Sans was in shambles. He stayed at his job, but he couldn't bear to see Celeste like that. He cried himself to sleep every night. Celeste refused to cook or try to sleep. She only ate when she was told to. Only slept when she was given a blanket. It wasn't that she couldn't take care of herself, it was that she wouldn't. There was no fire in her anymore. There was no point in eating, but no point in fasting. No point in sleeping, but no point in attempting to stay awake. There was no point in listening to what others had to say, but no point in arguing or refusing.

After a while, Celeste realized that there were ways to get rid of the memory entirely. The most obvious way would be to kill herself, but she knew that there was a better choice. So she chose it. Sneaking over to Toriel's house, she was relieved that Frisk was home alone. She called out to them, and the child walked out of their room.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to stay at home after what happened," they signed.

"I need to ask you a favor,"

"What is it?" Frisk asked, surprised that the adult would need a kid's help.

"I need you to do a TRUE RESET,"

Frisk was shocked. "How do you-"

"Sans told me every time you did one. I don't have memories but Sans always let me know. Please, one more. Do it all the same, except for one thing,"

"I want you to kill me,"

"What? I- I can't do that to you,"

"Sans will remember, and you can tell him that I asked you to. I need you to because I can't deal with this place. I never want to go up here. Sans will remember the Surface and it's horrors, and he can make a decision on whether or not he goes to the Surface. But I can't. I won't remember this run, and even if you tell me what happens, I might go anyways, or someone could convince me. I can't risk it, Frisk. I know this is an awful burden, but you're the only one that can do this,"

Meanwhile, Sans was in his room when he noticed that Celeste was gone. He couldn't find her anywhere in the house, so he walked across the hall to Toriel's. Inside he saw Frisk and Celeste. Celeste had a small tear on her face, and Sans realized what was happening. He yelled 'Stop!' and reached towards the pair.. As Frisk reached out to press TRUE RESET, Celeste spoke.

"I'm sorry, Sans. I love you,"

Then a bright light filled the room, and Frisk woke up on the ground. They knew what they had to do.
