15 & Pregnant

Emily Foster was the known girl around school. She wasn't the most popular, but she definitely had some boys' attention. In the fall, she is the captain of the cheer team and has the lead role in the schools play. In the spring, she in the star of the soccer team.

Even though she is very involved in school, she still has a life outside of it. She gets invited to a party by a boy, who's a grade ahead of her. She's hesitant to go at first, but is persuaded by her best friend, Lauren, to do so.

At the party, things don't go the way she planned, or even thought. She ends up forgetting everything that happened that night.

Weeks go by and she starts getting very sick. She thought it was the flu, but it had lasted weeks, and that's when she decides to try and find out what the issue is.

When the doctors tell her she's pregnant, she has no clue what to say, think, or even do. She is completely stunned by their conclusions and doesn't think she's ready to be a mother. Especially at fifteen.

1. Chapter 1

Emily's POV

"Em, I'm so glad I could catch you," Lauren exclaimed, running up next to me. She pulled out her phone and showed me a picture.

"No freakin' way. This has got to be a joke or something," I said on the verge of laughing.

"Nope. Not at all. Someone literally caught Elizabeth Perkins having sex with Adam Mitchell the other night!"

Elizabeth and Adam were the couple of the school that had broken up and gotten back together several times. We like to think of them as the off-again-on-again couple. Even though they were the two most popular kids in the school, they had just gotten exposed by someone less popular than them.

"How many people do you think know about this," I asked her.

"Who knows," she shrugged, locking her phone and slipping it into her back pocket.

"Who would even want to see all of that anyways," I said pretending to puke.

She laughed at my actions and replied with, "definitely not me."

The bell had rung, signaling that we had to be in class in the next five minutes.

"Hey, I'll catch up with you later, okay," I told her before walking off. I turned the hallway and instantly saw Elizabeth with her posse of girls. She looked furious.

"I told you to take that shit down," she yelled at one of the girls. She grabbed the poster of the same exact photo Lauren showed me earlier, ripped it off the wall, and threw it on the ground. She slammed her locker shut, and walked away.

She started walking my way, and I pretended not to notice her, but by the way she was stomping her heels, I'm sure everyone in the entire school knew exactly where she was.

"Later that evening*

"How was school," dad asked me from across the dinner table.

"It was okay, I guess," I replied, not mentioning the Elizabeth and Adam situation. "Have tons of homework though."

"I'm sorry to hear that, pumpkin," dad frowned. "I'm here to help if you need it," he added with a smile.

"Thanks dad." I took a bite out of my pizza and looked over at my mom. She seemed to be in her own little world. "Mom, are you with us?" She didn't answer. "Mom," I called again. This time, I started snapping my fingers.

She quickly shook her head and looked over at me. "Did you say something?"

"Yes," I said, "are you okay?"

"Yes of course, dear. No need to worry about me," she replied with a soft smile. I looked over at dad, giving him the I-don't-seem-convinced look, and he only looked at me and let out a small laugh.

I've noticed that something has been off about mom lately. Ever since she was in that car accident a few weeks ago. She had taken a full blow in the head when she went head to head with the car coming towards her. She lost her memory and hasn't got a clue who I am to her, or dad.

The doctors had said it'll take time for her to actually regain her entire memory back, but they didn't say she would act like this. I felt scared for her. I didn't want anything bad to happen to her, and I wasn't going to let it.
