The Vanisher

Back a few years ago, one of the world's most mysterious crimes ever committed left everyone stooped.
To this day, the goal and the criminal are still a mystery.
But, what people don't know what that the crime wasn't meant to be a crime in the first place.
The Vanisher, after many years, has returned with a mission, one that could change the world forever.

17. Friends and Foes

If High School teaches you one thing, besides actual textbook facts, it's that you will come across two types of people in the world:

Friends: people who support and care about you, or are at least there for you.

And Foes: people who exist to make your life hell.

There's no in between.

You're either a friend, or a foe.

See, Mr. Campbell may seem like a nice, cool, caring, awesome teacher who does awesome projects with his students, but, underneath that fake smile and ugly haircut, it a foe.  A monster.

And then there's people like Director Jones.  He's strict, powerful, and seems dangerous, but, honestly, he just likes to be in control.  He hurts your feelings or does wrong to you, he caves in apologizing.  A friendly guy.

But then there are actual friends, people who actually care about you, help you out, pick you up when you're down, steal your chips at lunch kinda people.  Like Tim.

He's nice, friendly, funny, cocky, and actually seems to be the only person who truly cares about me and my feelings.

Now that's what a true friend is like.

They don't boss you around.

They don't make your life hell.

They're just there.

There for you.

Always.

And, even on my darkest and hardest days, Tim's smile, his loud laughter, and his arrogant attitude can always make me smile.
