3. Being the Star Child

Aaahhhh yyyeessss, we have been through that stage where our parents makes us become the 'Star Child,' of the family. To the eyes of your grandparents to the point where they shine bright lights on you to their friends from work. Yes, 'Star Child,' can become a struggle when it becomes a problem to your lifestyle. Parents want their children to be classified as 'perfect.' Trust me, there must be people reading this now that must have gone through that struggle of being classified as the 'star child.'

Why is it such a big deal? It can become a nuisance to your life and maybe your behaviour. How? Your personality changes as well as other things about you. Probably that's me... But yeah... When you are chosen, overtime you become very competitive. From making delicious foods to seeing who becomes the smartest child in the family tree. Lets just say I am being to 2 people that are related to me, I won't say who, but it's what they do is the thing. Some people in your life, can be very jealous of what you have achieved or have done. Some will be wondering how come you have more sense in life compared to them (this is an example, not something that would offend. this is my opinion)

I live in the Brisbane City in Australia. Not much of a big deal, I'm a city girl. No, I am not rich to the point where I spend every dime that I earn from work on designer brands. But to one person I know, they lllooovvveeee spending it. and they love to show it. Honestly, why would one person spend so much money on a particular thing but never use it afterwards? I mean seriously, I don't spend that much money, but 1/4 of the time, I spend my money on food and I end up with only just $20 left in my account. Food has a purpose, designer brands don't, I'm just saying. But buying designer brand stuff doesn't make you any richer, I mean yeah it kinda does. but don't pretend to be one when you're not.

Next point: Achievements during the time of schooling. I am in year 11 at the moment, don't know what year or part of schooling that would be in some countries. but yes I am in year 11. In 1 and a half years, I have done 3 certificates in the hospitality industry, was accepted into a high paying job in the same industry not too long ago, have achieved all the points I need to finish schooling, and yeah I am just gonna stop. Cause I am bragging and I am seriously sorry about boring you to death. Please excuse me. But to another person I know. Apparently that's competition. This person has a cert slightly higher then me, spending thousands on private music lessons as well as schooling. And apparently attending a semi formal is a big deal?! Uuuhhhh hellllloooo, semi formal aint really that important... Is it?
