An ode to walks

Just a small song for an upcoming music-project with my friend Skovlyste. It still needs to be polished a bit though.

1. A song with no title yet, by Karoline Hundrup

We're picking flowers in the meadow
The golden and those so fragile
That they'll break by a single blow

There is a land to discover
And the impressions may be too much
So in the forest we seek cover

The trees look like they're telling fairytales
Tales told in the olden ways
With voices we can't understand today

And in the evening hour we'll see
The moon and the stars above our heads
Making us feel safe like it was day

Heading home to things we know so well
Our minds filled with new memories
And with new stories to tell
