The Leaky Cauldron

When Harry, Hermoine, and Ron decide to go to The Leaky Cauldron, they come face to face with Draco Malfoy, who wants to be the most powerful wizard of them all.

5. Back at Hogwarts

Professor Gilderoy Lockhart stared at the Ravenclaw dorms. He had curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and tall. He was a celebrated author of several books. Some of them were bestsellers. Before writing, he was a Defence of the Dark Arts teacher, telling his students that he saw Lord Voldemort when he was a student at Hogwarts. "I told you, Professor, the students today are irresponsible", Argus Filch said. "It's an honour to teach them, Sir. Besides, in my time, Professor Snape is the only one who hates my celebrity". He laughed. Suddenly he saw a group of wizards walking towards them.

"Ah, there they are", he said.

And he smiled.

Hermoine Granger stared at the Professor.

"I didn't know you were here at Hogwarts". She glanced at Cho Chang. She shrugged. Then she, and the other magical students, looked at him.

"Harry Potter, a boy who is as famous as I am". Draco Malfoy, who was smirking, glided towards him. "Potter is only as famous as his parents, Professor. He's not as good as Lord Voldemort". Cho gasped when she heard the dark wizard's name. "Draco. You shouldn't say You-Know-Who's name", George Weasley said. Dobby looked at the wizards. "Harry Potter. I know that Lord Voldemort is coming to the Leaky Cauldron". Harry Potter blinked his eyes. He felt the scar was burning ever since he knew evil was nearby. "We're near Gryffindor dorms, Dobby", he told the house-elf.

And he shook his head...and they headed away from Draco Malfoy.

Cho reached the girl's part of the castle.

"Password", the Fat Lady yawned.

"Gryffindor", she said. She waited. She waited for the framed painting to open. Then she walked into the dorm rooms, followed by Hermoine Granger.

Harry Potter headed to the Gryffindor rooms. Ron shook his head. "I hate Draco Malfoy". Oliver Wood, the Captain of Quiddich team, sighed.

"Don't worry, Ron. We'll beat Slytherin next week". He warmed his hands by the fireplace. Then he smiled, as he saw the other wizards relaxing in the room.

Harry Potter stared at the bunk bed. It was warmer than the one under the gloomy stairs at the Dursley house in London. Dudley was always stuffing himself of food; Harry realized that any food that he had was given to him by Mrs. Weasley when Harry visited Ron's house. "What's the matter, Harry?", Ron asked him. "Nothing. I mean I don't want to be famous because I never knew my parents. They loved me, because I am alive". Tears fell down his face, as Oliver Wood warmed his hands. "Potter, it's good of you to be a seeker for the Quidditch match next week". Harry nodded. He was amazed to have the ability to use his Nimbus 2000 broomstick to play the game all wizards loved to play. "I'll be fine, Oliver". Oliver grinned. He nodded, then headed to his bunk to read a book. By six o'clock PM, all of the wizards had dinner in the Great Hall. Harry had enough work to do. Suddenly all of the wizards begun to their own homework as Professor Dumbledore smiled at Harry. "I have a letter from your parents Harry if you want to read it". Harry nodded. "Thank you, Professor Dumbledore". He walked out of Gryffindor dorms, and glided towards his own huge office.
