When Laura and Albert returned from their weekend in Oslo it was late. They unpacked and Laura placed the clothes that they’d worn in the laundry basket. They both had work in the morning so they went to bed after Laura rang her father to tell him that they were back home safely. They had spent a lot of the time sightseeing whilst they were away. They visited the Edvard Munch art museum then that evening went to the Opera house to watch a production of Othello just so Laura could go back and tell her friends at work even though it was in Norwegian. On the Sunday Morning after going to Frogner Park they went to the Askershus fortress.  They walked around after they had eaten at one of the many restaurants then went to the EKE bergparken ski jumps and watched the locals in competition. Kids as young as twelve years old learned to ski jump on the three different slopes there. Laura said that she wanted to learn how to ski as her friends had been to Austria.

They had to be back on the ferry at eleven o’clock. They sailed through the night and reached Newcastle just after eleven thirty the following night.  Even though they were in the honeymoon suite as promised; Laura didn’t want to make love with Albert. She said that she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.

She left Albert sitting on his own at twelve midnight having a beer in the entertainment complex on the ship. Albert stayed until after two in the morning, he wasn’t tired really, but he went to bed anyway in the huff.

They got up at eight o’clock the next morning and went for breakfast in the ships restaurant. There was a wide selection of food to eat. Cold meats and cheeses, herrings in vinegar. There was a selection of cereals, yogurts, and fresh fruit on offer as well as a full English breakfast.

Albert made sure that he got his money’s worth because it was so expensive. He ate cereal and a full English breakfast, he even took some fruit back to the cabin with him to eat later for their lunch at home. That afternoon they walked around the duty free shop buying cheap gifts as well as alcohol that would come in handy for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

On their first day back at work people congratulated her. Laura spent her lunch break telling her work colleagues about her weekend in Oslo.

The two tall girls listened intently as Laura described where she had been and what they had done.

“We’re going to Rome this August with friends aren’t we Abigail.’

“Yes, Italy is full of young handsome men. They are so romantic you know.’ have you been Laura?’

“No not yet, but my husband and I want to see a bit of the world before we have children you know.’

“Are you going anywhere with your husband this August?’

“I don’t know yet, we’ve just got the brochures from Thomas Cook. Albert fancies Hawaii but I am undecided.’

“Hawaii sounds really good.

“Yes, have you been asked Laura?’

“No not yet.’

“Maybe some rich sugar daddy might take you both if you treat them right in the bedroom.’

“Whatever do you mean Laura, what type of girls do you think we are?’
