Cassie tasted the soup then raised her eyebrows in appreciation. She set the spoon down and broke some bread but didn’t add butter but dipped it into the soup.

“Sorry old habits die hard I’m afraid.’

“I’m glad you did that because I was dying to do it too.’

They both laughed together then felt totally relaxed. David topped up Cassie’s wine glass and then his own. He ordered another bottle whilst he ate his soup.

“I’m pleased you liked my choice he finally said.’

“Do you have any hobbies David?’

Yes, I like to take my yacht out.’

“You have a yacht?’

“Yes, she’s moored not far from here actually, if you have a strong stomach I can take you out on her if you like.’

“That would be lovely.’

“What about tomorrow we could pack a picnic and have it on board.’

“I’m not doing anything tomorrow so that would be lovely.’

Alright I will pick you up tomorrow, bring a bathing costume and we’ll go for a swim.

“You were a good swimmer in school as I remember.’ You won the gala for the school in the two hundred metres free style. And you also swam for the county too.’

“My, you have an excellent memory David.’

“I remember everything about you Cassie.’ Come on then said David, tell me about your hobbies.’

“Me, I don’t really have a hobby as such; I told you I rarely go out.’

“If I had a woman as beautiful as you I would show you off to the whole world to show how lucky I was that you’d chose me above all the rest.’

Stop it, you’re making me blush.’

The waiter brought the main course and they both tucked in. enjoy your meal sir, madam said the waiter as he uncorked another bottle then filled up their glasses.

This is spectacular the taste is just unbelievable. You have me converted David, her hand touched his and it was electric. The softness of her skin on his sent a feeling straight to his brain. As the evening wore on they were both feeling totally relaxed. It was ten o’clock and when they finished their coffee and Cassie said she was stuffed.

“Would you like to walk with me across the beach Cassie?’

“I hardly think I’m dressed for walking across the beach but I will walk along the promenade with you.’

David paid the bill then escorted Cassie outside there was a long stretch of green grass for about two miles and Cassie took off her heels and walked along.
