“When I can, said Bobby.’

“What do you do for a living then Bob?’

“I teach English at a local school.’

“You hear that Conchetta my nephew is a teacher.’

“My boys could use your help Bobby, English comprehension is a weak subject for them.’

No problem, once we get to England I can set up a tutorial programme on my computer and the boys can follow it and I will be able to give them little tests to do that will help.

Thank you said Conchetta.’

The drive to the airport took them just under forty minutes Conchetta had made sandwiches that they could eat at the airport as they had to wait 3 hours for their flight to Newcastle. Laura went to the phone to speak with Albert she gave him brief details of what had happened and that they were now waiting for a plane to bring them back home. Albert said he would be at the airport to pick them up but Laura told him that there was eight of them coming and that Buzz was coming on a later flight from Canada so they would hire a mini bus for them if he could pick Buzz up.

“No problem Laura, are you alright?’

“Yes I’m fine.’

Albert was totally confused at the situation. He could not comprehend was Laura was on about and decided to wait until she got home. All he got was that family were coming over for the funeral.

They sat in a McDonald’s restaurant having a coffee because the boys liked the burgers and coke from there. Conchetta took out the sandwiches that she had made and they ate them whilst they waited. Then Tim took Laura by the hand and whisked her off to the duty free shops.

He bought her a lovely gold necklace encrusted with diamonds which must have cost him a fortune he said that it was to make up for all the years that he had missed out on buying presents for her. And she bought him a new citizen quartz watch. He kissed her on the cheek and told her that he would never take it off.

“She also bought a watch for Albert and one for Bobby then she went into the sports shop and bought the three boys a Newcastle United strip each a lovely pair of earrings for Conchetta and something special for Buzz. Considering she had hardly spent anything since arriving in Spain it was nice to spend her money on gifts that would have been twice the price back home.

Tim bought his father a bottle of Jack Daniels which he liked to drink. When they returned to the café Conchetta was over the moon when Laura gave her the gift. She put the earrings straight into her ears then went to look in the mirror on the wall.

“They are beautiful aren’t they Timothy said Conchetta to her husband.’

“And so are you my lovely said Tim.’

“He’s such a romantic you know said Conchetta.’ He spoils me terribly.’
