“That’s a great idea Harry.’

“I think at the weekend we should have a scout about to see how much it would cost to buy up some land.’  “How’s your French?’

“Not too bad I think.’

Good the frogs like those who make an effort to speak their language. We may hit lucky you know and get somewhere quite cheap.’

“I took notes of everything from start to finish and all of the equipment that we would need Harry. If we can find a place with a couple of old barns we can convert them to house the holding tanks and you can use your joinery skills to make a room for the milking process and incubation.’ We could come over each weekend and do bits and bobs until it was done. It would only take us a few months before we could be up and running our own business.’

Susan took out the baguettes that she had taken from the breakfast table then poured them each a cup of coffee.

Back at home Susan’s parents were enjoying the Parisian sunshine and visiting all the places in the tourist guide. Harry’s mother was enjoying the peaceful tranquillity of the house whilst her husband and son was over in America.

Michael was preparing himself well and after nearly eight weeks he was getting used to the weather out there. The rumours were going around about Fernandez in all the papers saying he had let himself go and was not in good shape. Michael didn’t read any of it he just went about his job of getting himself in the best condition for the fight. He was faster and sharper than he’d ever been in his life. He was leaving nothing to chance. He’d sparred over 80 rounds with some of the best in the world and even Paul Tucker Grant was feeling good as he had been training with him. They had a press conference to attend to promote the fight. Hector Fernandez turned up with his aunterage in his white stretch limousine. Michael took the tube train with Norman and the rest of his team wearing a suit that cost no more than £50 pounds. Hector waltzed in wearing a purple velvet suit and crocodile shoes. His gold chains hung loosely around his neck and jewelled rings on his fingers. Michael looked over at him and almost burst out laughing. Fernandez reminded him of some Pimp from Startsky and Hutch the way he strutted to the stage.

Most of the questions were directed at Hector with him being the champion. He dismissed claims about his fitness saying he was in the best shape of his life and would win this fight easily. “England can only produce horizontal heavyweights he laughed.’

“So how do you see this one going champ said Robin Malone from the New York Times?’

“How do I see it going?’ well I see me knocking out this bum in five rounds.’

“What do you say to that Mickey?’
