Gloria and Avah have come together to use their special abilities to catch the killer that has taken so much from them both. But they soon discover that the more they peruse this diabolical monster the more they learn that this black soul has more on his side than they could bargain for. In the push and pull of this deadly game Gloria and Avah come to a chilling realization that they may not be able to find someone who ironically and horribly may be able to find them anytime he wants.

Gloria slowly climbed back up the stairs to get back in bed.  She peered at the clock alongside the wall as she walked pass it; 3:14 am. Thank God I don’t have class in the morning, she thought. She managed to wriggle away from Avah's clinches to go down stairs for a glass of milk and some apple pie. Being possessed by Ali had drained her completely.  Avah was taking the whole experience very hard. She had been moaning loudly and yelling in her sleep the whole time. Seeing Ali like that was too much for her. Avah insisted that Gloria sleep with her in her bedroom, because she didn't want to be alone. Avah promised that she would be on her best behavior and would not try anything. Gloria believed her because being in the state of mind she was in, the only thing that Avah could focus on was the events that took place earlier that night.  Greyhart had around the clock police protection for them both. Every thirty minutes a squad car would roll by. He suggested that they stay in a hotel for the night. The contractors would be there tomorrow to replace the windows. But Avah would hear nothing of it. As frightened as she was, she none the less had just shared another moment with Ali in that house, even though it had been a tragic one towards the end of the séance. But it was a moment with her husband just the same. Gloria slowly opened the bedroom door, being careful not to wake Avah. There she was sound asleep. At least she had stopped yelling out Ali's name. Gloria just looked at her. She seemed to be resting peacefully now. And as Avah shifted in the bed Gloria could also see...herself…just as sound asleep as Avah had been. Gloria suddenly froze. Her mind sprinted into a race as she tried to latch on to what was happening to her. She tried to open her mouth to speak; to scream, to even take a breath. It was only then that she had realized that she wasn’t even breathing! Gloria felt a swell of panic and a strange buildup of pressure that began to subdue her very existence. That is if she herself was to be called an existence. The self that she thought she was had never gotten out of the bed! Yet here she was; there she stood. Gloria Pinkett; but she knew just as sure of herself as she had been, she was now looking at...herself! In the fantastic insanity of her inverted perception, she had just noticed a cloaked figure in her peripheral that seemed to have appeared out of thin air. The figure grabbed her arm, and Gloria felt the stinging frost of death radiate from the figure into her.
"Congratulations," The figure said to Gloria.
The voice was that of a man, but it was demonic and grim; and the laughter that followed was soft and wicked. Gloria had finally found her voice again. As she heard herself screaming, she saw her self being quickly drawn to the Gloria that lay in the bed and away from the dark figure. As she slid in closer to the bed, the cloaked being chased after her, its shadowy black hands outstretched in her direction. The screaming had taken over her. It was all she knew and it was all she cared and longed for among the entanglements of this ensnared moment. A more familiar voice now she had heard. The voice of Avah had begun calling her name. Gloria continued to scream as she felt her body lift up and down. Avah had been shaking Gloria in hopes to wake her.
"Gloria! Gloria! It's me sweetie, it's Avah! Wake up!" Avah commanded.
Relenting from her hysteria, Gloria stopped screaming and opened her eyes. She began to cry. Now it was Avah's turn to hold Gloria.
"It’s ok, it's ok I have you sweetie, I have you. You were having a nightmare," she assured.
Gloria lifted her head up from Avah's bosom.
"No. This was something else, Gloria said, her face that of stone. This was something else altogether."
