"I Stand" is my first poem and one-shot that I have written in english. It is about my life-view and how are child becomes an adult.
I would like to apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes.

3. One-shot

As a child, I stand with my parents, who loves me and protects

me from the world’s coldness and a human’s selfishness. They raise

me and give me the love that I need. They never do a thing wrong.

They teach me how to walk and talk and they give me lessons in how

to live in a cold world like ours. They talk about their childhood and

how different it is from mine.

As a teenager I stand alone with no feelings and isolated from other

humans like myself. I don’t understand what a “happy” life is anymore,

but I keep walking down the road in front of me. As I walk alone I lock

my cold, cold heart away. Afraid of other hurting me and my glass heart.

As a young adult I stand alone in a cold world and with regretful sins. I

walk down a lonely, dark path where no one can hear my screams and

my cries as I call out to the cold humans. As I walk down the lonely path

my heart begins to crumble with no hope of saving it. As I walk there I

begin to die in a way that no one could ever imagen.

As an adult I stand alone with my love in a cold-warm world. I stand on

the dark path with all my regrets, sins and a jet black heart. But this time

with a little hope for my crumbled heart, that are beginning to heal. This

time I stand with a love, and with a tiny bit of hope for myself, the world

and the human race.
