Burn The Floor

Kienna Moorlake loves to dance. Most of all, she loves salsa dancing. The subtle, sexy movements have entranced her since the moment she first saw them performed. She goes to peruse her dreams in Spain, but is kidnapped and sold to a man, who in turn sells her to another man. Doesn't seem like a pyramid scheme to me at all.

4. Chapter Four

I was led out onto a stage. The auditorium looks like this: the stage is in the middle, the bidders occupy the floor around it. The girls dance, the bidders bid, then the girls are given to the highest bidder and led out a door. Then they get to be free.

I danced like there was no tomorrow, because there very well might not be. When I finished, I bowed and walked off. I was led into a room and told to wait while the bidding commenced.

Then we were ushered onstage yet again. Bruh. Not cool.

"Katya sold to bidder eight. Rosa sold to bidder forty one. Yukei sold to bidder thirty nine. Kienna sold to bidder twelve."

Kienna. That was me. Shit. The guard began to unlock the doors, and I saw my chance. I fucking flew across that floor to freedom. I was so close– almost there– and then someone shoved me. I fell hard, smacking my head on the floor. The guards were on me like a pack of wolves. They kicked, punched, and spit on me until I bled. And even after that they kicked and punched and spat. "Help," I croaked out. Then it stopped. A man stood over me, and an exceptionally good-looking one at that. He picked me up bridal style, stroking my hair. "We understand if you don't want her, mister Horan," said a guard. My eyes closed. "No, I want her," said the man in a sexy Irish accent. He took me outside, and the last thing I heard before I passed out was,

"Hang in there, love. Hold on."
