Followed by a rain cloud

A collection of poems, prose and straight up ramblings.

18. Is this what paranoia feels like? – April 2017

I’m not going to write a poem that tells you what my heart feels.

Instead, you’ll hear the story of the fear that consumes my mind.

The type of fear that doubts everything.

Doubts everyone.

The type of fear that becomes irrational the more you think about it.

The type of fear that makes you afraid to be happy.

For happiness seems to be short lived these days.

I fear the day you use everything I’ve said against me.

I fear the day you get bored of me; see me as a burden.

I fear the day your silence becomes more than you just being busy.
