Hayden’s POV

I was watching the hangover part 2 on Netflix when I heard my window open and looked up to see Jason crawl into my room. “Hey babe.” He smiled at me and sat on my bed. He put his arm around my shoulder and kissed the corner of my mouth before pulling me into his side.

“Do you have something against using the door?” I raised an eyebrow.

“Doors are no fun, and this way Adam won’t know I’m here.”

“Adam’s not even home, and he agreed to give you a chance remember.”

“Still won’t know I’m here.” Jason grinned making me roll my eyes. I got under the covers with Jason and snuggled into his side before continuing the movie. I could feel my eyelids getting heavier. Jason’s chest was so warm and comfortable that before I knew it I had fallen asleep snuggled into Jason’s chest.

I woke up to the door opening and the sound of giggling. I knew that giggle from anywhere, it was Kendall and Adam had to be with her. Before I could get out of bed the door opened and Adam appeared with the goofiest grin I have ever seen in my life. When his eyes landed on Jason his smile didn’t even falter for a second. Even though he agreed to give Jason a chance he still wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of us dating or the fact of him being here when he was gone, especially since I was still snuggled into his chest. I looked from Jason to Adam and began to get a creepy feeling from the smile that was about to split Adam’s face in half.

“Ok, can you stop smiling like that it’s creeping me out?” I said snapping my fingers to bring him back to reality.

Adams smile faded and he shook his head with a slight chuckle. “Come on sis, can’t you just be happy for me?”

“You haven’t said anything so I don’t what’s going on.” Adam tilted his head and gave me his ‘come on’ look. I got of the bed and gave him a big hug. “Congrats on your engagement big bro.” Adam beamed and shifted his eyes back to Jason, his beam becoming a slight smile.

“When did McCann get here?”

“Do you have something against calling him Jason?”

“It’s a habit Hayd, now answer my question.”

“I don’t know sometime when you were gone.”

“Please tell me you didn’t do what I think.” Adam paused and sniffed. Jason stayed silent knowing if he said anything Adam probably won’t believe as easily as he would believe the words coming from my mouth.

“Really Adam” I frowned and arched my eyebrow “Are you actually implying that Jason and I have sex every time we see each other?”

“No, just checking.” Adam shrugged. “It smells like you usual lavender air freshener in here though so I think you’re good.”

“You know a really simple clue would be the fact that I’m still fully clothed, Jason has a shirt on, and neither of us are covered in sweat.”

“Please tell me McCann has pants on under those covers.” I face palmed my self.

“You really are an idiot sometimes, of course he does. Now where is the soon to be Mrs. Kendall Mahone.”

“She’s downstairs waiting for me say hi to you.”

“Well, if you don’t mind I’d like to say hi to her.” Adam moved aside and I walked down the stairs to find Kendall on the couch admiring the ring. She looked up as I entered and immediately hugged me. “Hey Kendall.”

“Hey my soon to be sister-in-law.”

“Kendall, you don’t have to call me your sister-in-law, just sister. Plus no soon to be, we became sisters long ago.

“Really, but I heard you didn’t like me, because I talked to you like a little kid.” Kendall frowned, a little sadness in her eyes.

“True, and I kind of thought you would walk all over my brother because he’s too nice.” Kendall’s frown deepened and hey eyes looking down. “Hey Kendall, that changed. I don’t think like that any more.” Kendall lifted her eyes towards me.

“Huh?”

“Come on Kendall can’t you see that changed a while ago by how I act now. I love you.”

“You do?”

“I wouldn’t have helped Adam pick that ring if I didn’t think you were the right girl for him, and when he asked me if it was okay to ask you to move in, I wouldn’t have said yes if I still thought that you would walk all over him.”

“He asked you first?”

“Kendall you know how much Adam and I mean to each other, I’m the only family he has left after our parents died, and he is the only family I have. He wouldn’t ask a girl to move in and marry him, if I didn’t think she was right. He knows I have his best interests at heart and he trusts me. He wouldn’t chose a girl if it meant making me unhappy.”

“You know Hayden, I really do love your brother…more then I’ve ever loved anyone.”

“I know Kendall and I can see how happy you make him. He loves you so much and I know that you are the right girl for my brother.” Kendall hugged me and at that moment Adam walked in followed by Jason who pulled me down onto the couch into his lap and softly kissed my temple. I slightly blushed and smiled at Jason.

“So I heard the news. Congratulations to the happy couple. Mr. and Mrs. Adam Mahone.” Jason congratulated. Adam smiled at kissed Kendall.

“Thanks Jason,” Kendall smiled “I wonder if Mr. and Mrs. Jason McCann will be next.” She smirked and winked. Adam slightly elbowed her.

“Please, babe don’t put that idea in my head. At least not so soon, Hayden isn’t even 18 yet.” Adam held the bridge of his nose.

“Hey I was kidding, but you have to admit they make a really cute couple.” I smiled at that and Jason kissed my shoulder before I snuggled into his chest, and put my face in the crook of his neck.

“You know I’m feeling really tired, and I know normally for a celebration like this we would go out to eat, but I think we should just order pizza.” Adam sighed putting his arm around Kendall’s waist.

“I actually love that idea. You know pizza is my favorite food.” Kendall laughed.

“Well then pizza it is. Oh and Jason, you are welcome to stay if you want.” Adam replied standing up to go get the phone.

“I would love to thanks Adam.” Jason smiled at Adam, a real smile, and Adam returned a smile just as real. It seems like those two are finally getting along.

Kendall’s POV

After dinner was finished I volunteered to clean the dishes and Hayden offered to help. We were in the kitchen at the sink while Jason and Adam went into the den to watch a game.

“Well there is no shouted shouting so that a good sign.” I chucked washing off another plate.

“What?” Hayden seem confused

“Your brother and Jason are in the same room without you and aren’t trying to kill each other.”

“Yeah, well Adam understands that I like Jason and agreed to give him a chance so I’m happy.”

“You really like this boy don’t you?”

“I think I’m falling in love with him.” I heard her sigh.

“Never thought I’d heard those words.” Hayden raised an eyebrow at me. “You never really seemed like you had an interest in love, the only kind of love I saw you have was family love for Adam. He was the only guy in life and I looked like yo wanted to keep it that way. I never thought I’d hear you say you’re falling for a guy, especially one like Jason McCann.” I smiled down and slightly squeezed her shoulder. “I’m happy for you.”

“I never thought I would like Jason either, but something changed after he came over the first time I tutored him and while he was here I kissed him. Something started changing after that, he seemed different, sweeter, funnier, and better than that douchebag I always thought he was. Next thing I knew I found it hard to stay away from him and now he’s my boyfriend, plus he’s one hell of a awesome kisser.” Hayden chuckled and I keep help but laugh.

“Glad to hear it. I have a favor to ask you Hayd.”

“Shoot.”

“I was hoping that you would help me pick out my wedding dress. I really need you sense of style to find the perfect dress, one that won’t be able to stop Adam from smiling.”

“You do realize you could wear and cow suit with bunny ears, and pig nose, clown shoes, and ridiculous make-up and Adam would still smile and look at you like you were the sexiest thing on earth right?” I looked at her confused and slightly startled by her vivid description of that outfit.

“I know but I also wasn’t to feel beautiful, and not be dressed like and animal in Clown College. I want Adam to smile at me in a wedding dress that is so perfect that when I put it on, I can’t stop smiling myself.”

“Don’t worry Kendall. I get it; you want to find the perfect dress. Of course I’ll help you, and I’ll even bring Taylor along too. We both know she’s got a great sense of style.” Hayden answered putting away the rest of the plates and closing the cabinet.

“Thank you Hayden, so much. I really mean it.”

“Hey, what are sisters for?” She replied and with that we both went back into the den. Hayden sat on Jason’s lap and Jason instantly pulled Hayden into a sweet and passionate kiss while I distracted Adam from it by doing the same to him. Then I put my head on his shoulder while Hayden hid her face in the crook of Jason’s neck and started planting kisses on him. Both of the guys wrapped the arms around us, still watching the game, although Hayden’s lips kept distracting Jason. I just smiled and before I knew it I had drifted off to sleep on my fiancé’s shoulder.
