Hayden’s POV

Sunlight came streaming in the curtains of my bedroom windows on my face and woke me up. I looked over at the clock on my nightstand. It was 15 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. Oh well. Might as well get up. I turned my alarm off, got out of bed and went into the bathroom to shower. I washed all over my body, waking up my skin and stepped out now fully awake. I went into my closet and grabbed a Nirvana tank top, a pair of black skinny jeans, and a white beanie. I brushed out my sandy brown hair and placed the beanie on top to cover up the top of my hair. I looked at the time and decided to just go ahead and leave for school. I slipped on my black combat boots and my leather jacket. Then grabbed my phone, backpack, and an apple on the way out. I unlocked my dream car, a mustang and got in. I love this car it is perfect, silver and always looks brand new. I started the engine then drove to school.

I lived about 10 minutes away so I always got to school at a decent time. When I arrived in the parking lot there was already a bunch of kids here. I stepped out of my car and walked through the front doors over to my locker. I was putting my books that I didn’t need in my locker, and grabbed the ones for my first few classes when my best friend Taylor came up to me, smiling like always.

“Hey Hayd” she smiled at me.

“Hey Tay” I smiled at her nickname that she always uses for me.

“So you ready for math class?” Taylor asked in a tone that sounded way too happy and clasping her hands like she was begging.

“Why are you always so excited for math class? You hate math, you try to avoid it like it’s the black plague. You won’t even use math to figure out the tip at the diner, not even that easy tip calculator on your phone.” I looked at her with a disapproving frown and raised an eyebrow.

“I know, but our math teacher is really hot and also so young. He is only like 25 at the most. You can’t help but fall for those chocolate brown orbs he calls eyes.” Taylor seemed like her brain just left and took a trip to fairy tale land. I shook my head and wacked the back of Taylor’s head with my hand. “OW! Geez Hayden, what was that for?” Taylor whined as I grabbed my English book from my locker.

“Welcome back to reality. How was your trip with the fairies?” I slyly smirked.

“You can hit really hard you know that?” Taylor asked holding the back of her head.

“Taylor, Mr. Hood is our freaking teacher. It’s technically against the law considering were only 17 and plus you have a boyfriend, Liam remember? The wrestling captain that girls die for.”

“Whatever, Mr. Hood is still gorgeous!” I rolled my eyes at Taylor then grabbed my math books out of my locker.

“You seem to think that about a lot of our teachers, like Mr. Herstik (basically a less Asian-looking version of Mr. Hood) and Mr. Clifford.”

“Hey Mr. Clifford is really hot too! How many guys do you know that can actually pull off pale skin and any hair color at the same time?” Taylor was acting way too serious about his looks. “I still find Mr. Hood better though.” She finished. I shook my head and wacked her head again. “OW! Stop doing that.” Taylor whined and put her hand on the back of her head.

“Just be happy I didn’t use a book on you instead.”

“You wouldn’t dare.” Taylor sounded scared.

“Try me.” I smirked evilly at her.

“I’d rather not.” Taylor sighed still holding the back of her head.

“Good choice. Are you done drooling over our teachers?” I asked and Taylor just nodded, I nodded back and turned back to my locker. That girl. She seems to want to date Mr. Hood over her own god’s gift of a boyfriend.

Liam Roth was captain of the wrestling team, outside linebacker on football, and tackle in lacrosse. He made all three of the varsity teams as a freshman, which never happens. He was about 6”2’ and very built. He has jet-black hair in a perfect quaff and hazel-brown eyes that girls said ‘could melt a snow cone’. He was one of the most desired boys in school and Taylor is the one that got him over every Cheerleader and any other girl.

I finished getting my books for my first few classes, put them in my black bag, slung the strap of my bag over my shoulder so the strap went across my chest, and closed my locker. When I looked back at Taylor her face was white as a sheet like she had seen a ghost.

“Taylor, what’s wrong?” she didn’t answer but was starting to quake like a leaf in the wind.

“Hey princess.” A low husky voice said behind me. Oh great. I sighed and turned to face the source.

“What do you want Jason?” I spoke with irritation clear in my voice.

“Woah, calm down princess.” He held his hands up in mock surrender, a smirk plastered across his face.

“Don’t call me that. Now what do you want, a brick banged into the side of your head, because I would be happy to help you with that.” I gave him a fake smile and Jason laughed.

“You see Hayden, I would rather bang you.” Jason eyed me up and down like I was an item in the black market that someone would bid on as a prostitute.

“You see Jason, that won’t happen.”

“You sure about that?” Jason asked with a smirk and slightly leaned in.

“100%” I answered wanting this to end, so I could leave. Jason said nothing but pushed me against the lockers. He then held my wrists trapping me there and smashed his lips against mine. His lips pressed against mine felt good, but I didn’t kiss back.

“Kiss me back.” Jason mumbled but I refused to. He tried to put his tongue in my mouth and kiss me harder, but I kept my mouth shut tight and refused to kiss back. I kneed him where it counts and he let go of me to hold his crotch. “Nice aim princess.” Jason smiled but I knew he was in pain.

“Nice try McCann, but I’m not another one of your toys.” I grabbed Taylor’s shaking hand and walked away with, well more like dragged Taylor who was still scared shitless and white.

“Do you have any idea what you just did?” Taylor asked when we finally sat down in math and she could talk again.

“Yeah, I kneed Jason in his cock.” I replied emotionless.

“Hayden, he is going to be pissed at you. This is Jason McCann we’re talking about here.” Taylor said like I was insane.

“I don’t care. Jason doesn’t scare me, and he’s a stupid dick head.” I showed my evil grin.

“You’re insane, you know that?” Taylor cocked her head at me.

“I love you too.” At that moment Mr. Hood walked in and suddenly Taylor had stars in her eyes staring at him, not paying attention to the lesson. Now I know why she does so badly in this class, it’s because she’s too busy staring at the teacher to pay attention to the lesson. Sure Mr. Hood was attractive as hell, tan skin, black hair with blond highlights, chocolate eyes, and muscular arms that were clearly shown with his sleeves rolled up. I could see why Taylor found him hot. Seriously though, she has Liam Roth, one of the most desired boys in school. She shouldn’t get all starry eyed at Mr. Hood when she’s got Mr. Roth. I just sighed and tried to concentrate but could feel eyes on me the whole class and I knew exactly whose eyes they were. Jason McCann.
