A sequel to Beautiful!

11. Eleven

I got myself an iced coffee and I got Jungkook an actual coffee, milk and two packs of sugar. I walked up the steps to his house and I opened the door, stepping inside. I pulled off my shoes and I walked into the kitchen where he was sitting, picking at a bowl of ramen that was sitting in front of him. He had tears streaming down his face and I could tell that he wasn't taking things as well as I hope he would.

"What's wrong?" I asked and I set the cup of coffee down in front of him. I walked around the table and I sat across from him, setting my cup of iced coffee in front of me. "Why are you crying, Jungkook?"

"This was his favourite," Jungkook said, nodding to the cup of noodles. He wiped a few tears from his face and he sniffled. "I miss him, I don't like being away from him for a long time. I couldn't sleep last night cause I knew the house was empty and I knew he wasn't going to come home."

"Jungkook, we will find him, I promise you we will," I say and I sigh, seeing more tears fall down his face. "I called the bar and asked them to send me a security clip of the bar and they did."

"Did you see anything?" Jungkook asked as he pulled the tab back on his coffee cup and took a sip. "I called around to a few places but no ones seen him."

"I actually did notice something weird," I pulled out my phone and I open up the clip they had sent me. I show it to him and I look at him with a serious look on my face, "did you see it?" I ask.

He looks confused, "see what? All I see is a bunch of people and then you standing at the bar, I don't see anything, I don't even see Jimin."

I sigh and I replay the video, pausing it at the right minute so I could show him what I was talking about. "Here is Jimin standing at the edge of all the people," I say and I point to a person just walking in the door, a hood over his head so the camera couldn't see his face. "This guy walked in nearly at the same time."

"Just wait," I say and I fast forward the tape a bit and I pause it, turning my phone to show Jungkook. "Jimin is standing a few feet from the bar right?"

"Yeah," Jungkook nods. "I see him."

"Well, if you look to your right there's the guy from before and he's looking directly at Jimin," I set my phone on the table and I look at him. "Don't you find it funny how out of all those people, he stares on at Jimin, there's a crowd between them but it's obvious he's looking only at Jimin." I pick my phone backup and I go to another part. "That guy left as I gave the drink to the guy, just minutes before he left with Jimin and went out side. Maybe I'm thinking too much of it, but that guy must have Jimin. I didn't see the guy at the bar, I watched this tape I don't know how many times until that had stuck out to me."

"Good work, Hoseok," Jungkook said and a small smile grew on his face. "I wouldn't have noticed that even if I tried too," he chuckled and he ran a hand through his hair. "So, what do you think our next move should be from here?"

"Well, I think we should take this to the police." I say and I drank some of my coffee. "We are just two people, I don't really have the ability to figure things like this out, the police could watch the tape, question some people if they need too and since the footage is a bit blurry, maybe they could actual tell who the guy is by making it clear or something."

"Okay, let's do that," he said and he brought the cup of noodles over to the counter. "What if he's... dead?" Jungkook asks and I slip my phone into my pocket.

"That's something we shouldn't think about, I have this feeling in my gut that he's okay, I know he is, he's got to be okay," I look over at him and I rest my hands on my lap. "Jimin's an easy target, we should teach him defence techniques."

"He can bite and spit and stomp on feet," Jungkook said and I let out a chuckle.

"Well, I guess those will do fine for now, I'm getting him a bottle of pepper spray for his birthday," I drink more coffee and I stand up from my seat. "Do you have gloves? Like rubber gloves?"

"Yeah, I do," He said and he looked at me with furrowed eyebrows. "Why do you ask that?"

"Well, we should go back to the bar and look around to see if there's anything we can find. If we do find something, we can't have out fingerprints on it," I say and I pick up his car keys from the counter. "I'll let you drive, get the gloves and we'll leave."

"They're already in my car."

"You know, Jungkook. That makes me a bit concerned... not gonna lie." I pulled on my shoes and I watched him walk into the porch. "But I trust you, but still I'm concerned."

He laughed gently and he locked the door before pulling it open. "Lets go, before anyone gets to the bar." Jungkook closed the door behind us and we both got into his car.

"How long have you had this car? It looks brand new," I say and I run my fingers along the dash board.

"I had it for a while, but I take good care of it," he says and he pulls the car from the driveway. "Which way do I go?" He asks and I point to the left.

"I work at a bar, you see sketchy people all the time so I'm surprised I didn't notice him before. I was caught up in the moment, I made sure to stay focused on the plan that me and Jimin had made and not anything else but that. I still can't believe he thought of that."

"Well, at least he didn't kill him. I'm proud of him," Jungkook said and I looked over at him with wide eyes.

I see a traffic light ahead and I sighed when I seen it flick red, we were getting really close to it but Jungkook wasn't stopping the car. "The lights red," I said and I looked at him, "You have to stop the car."

"I can't!" Jungkook said, showing me that he was clearly stomping down on the break, but it wasn't working. "The breaks aren't working! What do we do?!"

The end of the school year is coming close :)
