You are born with one of the fire elemental in your blood. Fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, light, arcane and matter. Those eight elemental are used by the eight sins of Arcanheim. 1. Arcanheim.

The eight ways of magic. You're born with one of the eight. Fire, water, earth, wind, darkness, light, arcane and matter. Your magic is shown by the magical monuments in all of the towns. They are called the monuments of magic. When you touch the stone it will glow the color of your magic. To get into more specifics there is.

Fire. The embodiment of destruction. Volcano magic. Explosion magic. Ember magic and the living way of being a dragon. The way of the fire was given to the people of Arcanheim by the ancient dragon people. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the fire to forge weapons but also melt enemies. The monument would glow red if you're a fire magus. 

Water. The embodiment of balance. Wave magic. poison magic. Rain magic and to be the living form of the sea. The way of water was given to the people of Arcanheim by the leviathans of the ocean. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the waters to heal and kill. The monument would glow blue if you're a water magus.

Earth. The embodiment of strength. Cliff magic. Molten magic. Creation magic and to be the living form of the mountain. The way of earth was given to the people of Arcanheim by the giants of the mountains. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the earth to make structures but also destroy cities. The monument would glow green if you're an earth magus.

Wind. The embodiment of peace. Wind magic. Tornado magic. Speed magic and to be the living form of the sky. The way of wind was given to the people of Arcanheim by the Storm eagles of the sky crowns. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the wind to make transportation but also to tear down roads. The monument would glow white if you're a wind magus.

Darkness. the embodiment of the shadows. Shadow magic. Lurk magic. Nightmare magic and to be the living form of a nightmare. The way of darkness was given to the people of Arcanheim by the demons of the underground. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the darkness to lure away dark forces but also to lure them closer. The monument would glow black if you're a darkness magus.

Light. The embodiment of justice. Shield magic. Healing magic. Prison magic and the be the living form of the holy. The way of light was given to the people of Arcanheim by the angels of the church. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the light to heal the wounded but also imprison others. The monument would glow yellow if you're a light magus.

Arcane. The embodiment of pure. Bolt magic. Blast magic. Empower magic and to be the living form of magic itself. The way of arcane was given to the people of Arcanheim by the wisps of the mana realm. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the arcane to repel evil magic but also destroy magic with it. The monument would glow violet if you're an arcane magus.

Matter. The embodiment of space. Gravity magic. Warp magic. Space magic and to be the living form of the beyond. The way of matter was given to the people of Arcanheim by the Novas of the stars. Grating their blessing on the monuments of magic. Now the people of Arcanheim can use the matter to make dimensional rooms but also crush enemy under gravity itself. The monument would glow purple if you're a matter magus. 

The eight ways of magic and the five ways of conjuring. Mana, runes, alchemy, summoning, and artifacts.

Mana. The way of using the magic in your body and link it to the mana in the air. Then unleash your spells through the fingers into the mana itself and then strike down enemies. Its also called the basic way of magic. Because its not exhausting but you don't need a link to get it out of your body. You can use the magic directly on something if something like armor cloth or people are connected to your body

Runes. The way of inscribe magic into symbol or tattoos on either cloths or skin. Your magic link with the rune and are able to be called forward by the runes you made. The ways of rune is a bit harder then mana since you need to know how to inscribe them on to things and also how to correctly use them.

Alchemy. The way of using other things to make magic. Like powder or water, you can turn that into magic. You infuse the powder or water with your magic and the moment you throw it you can turn it into your element and use it. This way of magic is usually used to construct and not combat.

Summoning. The way of forcing your magic out of your body with spell words. You summon your magic from inside your body into the air. Like making a gate for them to get out of. Its used a lot in combat and less in normal things. Its an exhausting way of magic but its also one of the most effective in combat.

Artifacts. The way of having your magic directly linked to an item. You summon your magic by connecting the gate in the artifact and the gate in your body. It works like summoning but it's not exhausting since its the item there take the beating. You can't use your magic if you lose the artifact but if you destroy the item you're able to make a new one.

Magic is really hard and confusing thing that is why nearly everyone is a blade magus. They have a weapon and magic at the same time. Swords, spears, claws. So many ways of battle. The stories follow the seven...Oh sorry, eight sins of Arcanheim. It all starts with these eight. The eight of them have one of the elements and all have a past with their sin. They all are connected but they don't know each other. They were grouped to their powerful use of magic and weaponry. They soon would intertwine in the hands of fate. As the eight of them would join under one banner and face a darkness lurking in the eyes of everyone. But first they need to join forces and it all start with the eight sin. His name. Xather.
