4. what happens in the past stays in the past. right?

I have a question.  Whatever happens in the past stays in the past.  But does it?  I’m going to tell you what happened at summer camp before I went into the sixth grade.  It was time for the older group of kids to go to the pool that’s at the camp.  So I went into the pool thinking it was safe.  Usually, it is.  But in my case on that very day, it wasn’t.  I was swimming underwater.  Then a kid, Moses thought it would be an amazing idea to stand on my back and stay there.  I thrashed.  I knew if I didn’t move, I would have died.  Fortunately, I survived.  I haven’t told anyone this.  Just like I haven’t told you why I am writing this.
