If I Fall

Dot is a writer. A secret writer who went by the name of Miss Terry Righter. She's quite successful too! She had just finished her third book to her book series when she got forced into a meet and greet with the writer of the Maze Runner book series, and the cast. From that moment on she wasn't sure if she could, or wanted, to keep her writing identity a secret. Will love be in store as well?
Originally written and completed in 2015-- Ending rewritten May 2017

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I posted this on Wattpad and it was a hit there. This is a Thomas Sangster fanfic and some parts have the Maze Runner cast in it. Even though I have all the chapters written out in completion I would appreciate comments and such just so I can rewrite if I need to.

2. La La La Whatever

Dot pulled up next to the curb of Amber's house, and watched her run to the car. Ambers lightly waved, golden blonde hair bounced with every step she took. It was quite hilarious. Dot contemplated telling her right then and there. She had to tell herself to bite her own tongue. Amber got in the car.

"Thanks for taking me to where you work!" She laughed, "There are soon to be a bunch of adorable boys there!" She laughed. Dot shook her head. Amber was hopeless!

"You do know they closed the restaurant to everyone except Mr. Dashner, and his Runners, right?" Dot asked laughing as she spoke. Amber glared.

"No one told me that." She said dead panned. Dot cackled.

"I told you that right after you asked me to take you!" She said as she started to pull away from the curb, "Maybe I can get you in." Amber started bouncing in her seat, "I stress maybe." Dot said, "Kinda not likely though. So, don't get your hopes up." But Dot could tell it was too late. Amber busted open her purse, and pulled out a mix CD of music they both liked, and put it in the CD player. Dot sighed as the first song started.

"It's been a really really messed up week

Seven days of torture, seven days of bitter

And my girlfriend went and cheated on me

She's a California dime but it's time for me to quit her

La la la, whatever, la la la, it doesn't matter, la la la, oh well, la la la" They both sang.

The song soon changed to "The Honey Hill Stomp", a different song that had no words, but was cool anyway. The song was about half way over when they pulled in to the parking lot of Edelweiss. Pronounced phonetically as eetle-we-is. The restaurant owner, Miss Blackwell, wasn't too strict, but when it came to someone reserving the entire seating area, she wanted the people to be as comfortable as possible. Mainly so they'll recommend her restaurant to their other rich friends.

The girls walked up to the door, and went directly inside. Dot was surprised fans weren't already outside just to catch a glimps of their idols before they entered the blacked out windowed building. She walked around the counter, and to the back where she got into her locker for her apron.

"Ah, Dot, I need you on waitress duty." Miss Blackwell said. Dot nodded, and walked followed her boss to the main kitchen, "And who is this?" She asked gesturing to Amber.

"Oh," Dot started, "Well, That's Amber, and she had nowhere else to go, and she needs a job." Miss Blackwell sighed, and looked at Amber.

"She can work today as an assistant to you, being that we're the only two working today. Go get her an apron, and make her a nametag." She said. By 'make her a nametag', she meant to get a piece of paper, write her name on it, and find a piece of tape, or saftey pin, or some way to stick it to her shirt. Dot pulled Amber into the back with her, and pulled out someone else's apron.

"Here, put this on!" She tossed it at her, and went digging around the drawers of the desk for paper, and something to stick it on with, "All I could find was a straight pin." She said walking over to Amber, "Ready?" She asked. Amber nodded, and Dot slowly put the pin through the paper, then her shirt, and back out again.

"Pshhh" Amber said, "I wasn't worried! I knew you wouldn't stab me!" She said walking out of the backroom. Dot followed, and watched as a big black SUV pulled in the parking lot. And there was a herd of girls right behind it. The SUV parked in the back, and about 10 people ran inside to avoid being attacked. Miss Blackwell smiled to herself, and watched as they all stood as far away from the door as possible. Miss Blackwell walked up to the door, and turned the lock.

"Hello," she said, "take a seat anywhere!" She smiled, and walked back into the kitchen where her smile turned into slight panic, "Dot, go out there, and tell them who you are. Take their orders, and tell me what to cook!" She ushered her out. All their eyes flew to her. She stood there silently for a second before she took a deep breath, and walked over to the first table.

"Hello." She said, "My name is Dot, what can I get you to drink?" She asked.

"Oh, I'll have a Coke." One said. He mocked her thick accent. She scowled.

"Dylan!" The girl sitting next to him hit him in the arm, "Don't be rude!" She sighed, "Oh, I'll have a coffee." She smiled. Everyone else at the table ordered, and she moved on to the next table. This one had two more professional looking men at it.

"Alright!" Dot said walking up to them, "What can I get for you to drink?" She asked. They both wanted water. Dot went back into the kitchen, and called out the drinks. As she read them out Miss Blackwell counted on her fingers how many that was.

"We're missing someone!" She called out.

"Missing someone?" Dot replied, "I asked everyone!"

"Obviously not!" Amber called from the drink machines. Dot grumbled, and walked back to the seating area to count heads. She stomped back in the kitchen.

There are only nine out there!" She said. Miss Blackwell had a sudden look of terror in her eyes.

"They've gotten one." She said.

So....that happened!
