Baby Mine

Adelaide Elizabeth Parrilla was born to Lana Maria Parrilla and has an unknown father. Lana didn't want to expose her baby to celebrity life so gave lil Addie up for adoption. When Adelaide was one Lana decided to look for her baby and finds Addie just a few weeks before her third birthday. It was difficult at first but a happy ending is at the end of the tunnel

22. Time Together

Lana’s POV---------------------

Addie and Sean came into the house. Sean had food and Addie immediately ran up to me sitting on the couch. I was five minutes into Game of Thrones. I had texted Sean like fifteen minutes ago but oh well. I had called him ten. Addie climbed into my lap and I turned off the show. She was too young to watch that stuff. She climbed into my lap and wrapped her arms around me. Sean handed me my food and drink before setting up Addie’s on the living room table. She prayed over her food and Sean turned on the little mermaid. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me ever so gently. I began eating my sandwich and Sean played with my hair. Addie quickly ate her food and turned around to look at me.

“Mommy can I go play in the playroom?”
“Can you or may you?”

“Mommy may I?”

“Yes Addie you may go play.”

Addie jumped up and ran off. Sean stood up and went to throw away all the trash. I was left on the couch. I lay down on a pillow and turned back on Game of Thrones. I placed a hand over my abdomen and imagined the tiny thing that grew inside of me. Sean came back in and sat down. I lay my head on his lap and he held me close.

“Why did you get all dressed up?”

“I don’t know. Bex always says even when you feel like crap, you get up, dress up, show up and never give up.”

“You’re all dressed up and Addie’s downstairs playing. Do you want to call a sitter and go paint the town?”

“I’m pregnant.”

“I know.”

I tilted my head up and Sean kissed me. He put his hands on my ass and pulled me close. I stood up and then straddled him with my legs. I kicked off my ballet flats and kissed Sean more passionately. I push Sean away and wipe away my lipstick with the back of my hand. I stand up and whisper.

“Yeah better check up on Adelaide.”

I straighten my blouse and walk to the playroom door. I peek down the steps and find my little munchkin busy playing with her dolls and rocking out to the OUAT soundtrack from season 6. She was prancing around to Wicked Always Wins. I smiled and closed the door. She was in perfect peace. Then I remembered something and walked back in.

“Addie if you need Mommy and Daddy just press the button on your TV. We’ll be upstairs. Okay?”

“Okay Mommy.”

I shut the playroom door and returned to where Sean was sitting. I wrapped my arms around his neck and straddled him once more. He pulled me in for a kiss.  He wrapped his arms around me and attempted to stand up off the couch. He tried a couple times and then just stopped. I broke the kiss and the romantic mood was killed.

“I’m sorry Sean.”

“No it’s not your fault.”

“Yes it is. I weigh too much.”

I got off him and wiped away a tear. I ran upstairs and locked the door. Sean came knocking and he was frantic.

“Lana open the door.”

“No, I’m hideous. I’m a gigantic preggo monster.”

“No your not, you are beautiful and you aren’t even showing. Please open the door.”

“No I won’t open the door.”

“Lana please?”

I walked into the bathroom and locked that door as well. I climbed onto the scale and watched the numbers increase. I placed a hand over my flat belly.

“You little one are ruining my body. I’m only a month in and already you’ve made me gain so much weight that my husband can’t even pick me up.”

I rummaged through my medicine drawer and took two prenatal vitamins. I walked back into the bedroom and changed into a pair of sweat pants and a sweatshirt. I then opened the door; Sean was leaning against the wall, facing the door with his head in his lap. I just stared at him. I felt a little better after a quick thinking and weight measuring. I checked my watch and found it was only one in the afternoon. Addie was probably still downstairs playing in her playroom.

Sean stood up and crossed the hall. He wrapped his arms around me and I gave him a long kiss. He ran his fingers through my hair and I breathed a sigh of relief. He picked me up and carried me into the bedroom. I put me down on the bed and went into the walk in closet. I felt sick so I got up and ran to the master bedroom. I began throwing up and crying. This baby was ruining my body. I couldn’t last till March. I couldn’t last till September; I would be three months and would be going to the doctor for the first time. Dr. Reese would be upset with me for not coming sooner.

“I’m in the bathroom. Getting sick.”

Sean came in and lingered in the door. He wore his black dressing robe. He paced over to the huge Jacuzzi and ran me a nice bath. After I was done hurling, he wiped my mouth and helped me into the tub. He threw in a bath bomb and gave me a massage.
“Did I mention that I loved you?”

“I love you too.”

“Did I tell you that you look absolutely stunning today?”

“Yes I think you did mention that.”

After a few minutes of just massaging Sean suddenly got up and left.

“I’m going to check on Addie. I’m going to call her sitter and then we’ll go out to dinner.”

“Sean! Not like this.”

“Lana. You are beautiful. It’s my birthday gift to you.”

“Okay go check on Addie and call the sitter.”

Sean left the bathroom. I let the water drain before I climbed out of the Jacuzzi. I wrapped a towel around my body and then walked into the bedroom. I walked over to my closet and began looking through my dresses, my blouses and my skirts. All my clothes were color coordinated. I looked through the reds, oranges, yellows, greens, blues, and purples before pulling out my navy blue dress with white stripes along the skirt. The top part had cap sleeves and a low neckline. I placed it on the bed and took out a pair of black wedges. I carefully selected my navy blue handbag that had a big white bow on the front.

I changed into my black lingerie and walked back into the bathroom. I shaved my legs really fast and then did my hair. I curled it ever so slightly and then fixed my makeup. I redid my smoky eye with black, grey and blue. I used my charcoal eyeliner and black mascara. I lined my lips with plum lip liner and then applied my capricious by mac lipstick. Sean and I had only been married for a month but it felt like we’d been married for the longest time. I went back into the bedroom and changed into my dress. I slipped into the heels and twirled in front of my full-length mirror. Sean and Addie came in just as I was getting ready to walk downstairs.

Addie now wore her favorite blue dress and her Cinderella sneakers. Sean had changed into a nice shirt with a nice pair of shoes and pants. Addie came up to me and reached for me to pick her up. I lifted her up and smiled.

“Goodness gracious me. You’ve gotten heavy.”

“I love you Mommy.”

“I love you too Addie. These three months of me having you have been the best three months of my entire life.”

“It’s only been three months?”

“Feels like an eternity.”

“I love you Mommy.”

“I love you too Addie.”

“Mommy, who’s going to babysit me,”

“I think Daddy called Ella.”

“I don’t like Ella.”

“Why not honey?”

“She’s mean. She makes me go to bed early.”

“What time do you go to bed?”

“That’s your bedtime silly.”

I put Addie down and she ran out the door. I could hear her playroom door slam and the doorbell ring.

“That must be Ella.”

“You look wonderful Lana.”

“Thank you Sean.”
