Baby Mine

Adelaide Elizabeth Parrilla was born to Lana Maria Parrilla and has an unknown father. Lana didn't want to expose her baby to celebrity life so gave lil Addie up for adoption. When Adelaide was one Lana decided to look for her baby and finds Addie just a few weeks before her third birthday. It was difficult at first but a happy ending is at the end of the tunnel

6. Engagement

Addie’s POV

Mommy put me in the car and I sucked on my binky. My tummy still hurt after the nasty medicine. I wore my pink and purple dress with a bow in my hair. Momma kept looking at me with her mirror. Finally I looked out the window and saw a gold thingy in the distance. I popped the binky out of my mouth and asked.

“Mommy what’s that gold thing?”

“It’s a building sweetie.”

I didn’t answer. She looked at me through the mirror and I weakly smiled. My tummy and my head really hurt. I closed my eyes for just a few moments and felt the car come to a stop. I felt Mommy lift me out of my seat and I molded my body against hers. I wrapped my legs against her waist. I still sucked on my binky. I heard voices and opened my eyes to look around at all the new people.

“Oh Lana is this Addie?”

“Yes Bex this is Adelaide Elizabeth Parrilla.”

I buried my face in Mommy’s shoulder and feel her place her hand on my back. She began to walk and I felt a lot of hands on my back. Finally we got into the building and Mommy put me down on the couch.

Lana’s POV

I put Addie down on the couch and immediately my friends began showering her with kisses, hugs and toys. My friend Ginny handed her a cookie and Josh began making silly faces. She climbed onto Rebecca’s lap and started talking to my best friend. Sean came up to me and I stared at him. He pulled me away from the party and pulled me in for a kiss

“You look stunning.”

“You look so handsome.”

“I need to speak with you. Do you want to take a walk?”

“I would love too.”

I went to find Addie and found her watching Frozen with Rebecca, Jen and Ginny. Josh, Colin and Marc were cooking chicken nuggets and making virgin drinks. I loved the fact that all the foods were kid friendly. I gave Rebecca a hug and kissed my daughter’s head.

“Mommy and Sean are going to be back in a couple minutes okay Addie?”

“Hey Adelaide, your mommy is just going on a walk with me.”

“Who are you?”

“Your mommy’s best friend.”

“I’m Sean, I’m your mommy’s boyfriend.”

“Okay! I stay with Bex.”

My little girl was really warming up to all my friends. I couldn’t wait to take her to set with the guys. I left her with my friends and Sean and I took a stroll. We walked and talked.

“Addie’s a bright little girl.”

“Yes she is. She’s so adorable. I feel so bad that I missed so much.”

“Maybe you’ll have another one day and get some memories. You can raise another baby with Addie.”

“I don’t see that happening anytime soon.”

Sean and I had arrived at a bridge. We stopped and he pulled me into a kiss. My heart exploded as he got down on one knee and pulled a box out of his pocket. My hands immediately went to cover my gasp and wipe away my tears.

“Will you marry me Lana?”

“What about Addie?”

“She’s gonna be my daughter.”

“Yes I’ll marry you.”

Sean slipped the ring unto my finger and he stood up to kiss me. I kissed him and held him so tight. We walked hand in hand back to the party and found Addie sitting on the couch nestled between Bex and Marc. Sean and I stood together with silly smiles on our faces. Finally Ginny had to ask as she came in with Addie’s chicken.

“What are you two smirking about?”

“We have an announcement.”

I stuck out my hand and they all gasped.

“Sean and I are getting married.”

“That’s wonderful. Finally Lana is the last one to get married.”

“All of us are having kids and you’re just getting married.”

“Bex you don’t have kids. Neither do Jen and Colin.”

Jen and Bex stood up and held their husbands.

“Jen and I are both pregnant.”

We were so happy that I didn’t notice Addie making faces and about to cry. Out of nowhere she shouted.

Addie got off the couch and ran off.

Addie’s POV

Mommy was marrying Sean; she would take me back to the orphanage and forget about me. I climbed off the couch, threw my binky across the room and cried.

I ran into the bathroom and slammed the door. I found the lock and locked myself in. I could hear Mommy and Sean both pounding on the door.

“Addie let me in. Unlock the door.”

“Addie please do what your mom says?”

“Adelaide Elizabeth.”

“NO! NO! NO!”

“Adelaide Elizabeth Parrilla!”

I could hear Mommy trying to open the door. I climbed into the bathtub and lay down. Finally I saw Mommy looking down at me. Sean and Bex appeared as well. Mommy picked me up and I kicked and screamed. She held me close to her body and apologized to everyone.

“No you’re going home.”

That was the first time Mommy ever raised her voice at me. Everyone stared at her. She apologized to everyone, she kissed Sean and we left. She buckled me into the car and slammed the door shut. She climbed into her seat and started the car. I held my breath and Mommy noticed.

“Addie you need to breath.”

I took a deep breath and started crying. I started yelling so Mommy turned up the music as high as she possibly could. Finally I stopped crying and Mommy turned the music down. My eyes began to feel heavy and I felt myself become immerged in a pool of total darkness.
