1. Day 1

“Serena, have you heard about the book in my attic?” Said Emily.

“Emi, yes. But we shouldn’t read it… it could be bad stuff.” Serena said.

“Yeah, I agree with Serena. Maybe we should leave it alone…” stated Riley.

“Come on, don’t be chickens! I’ll invite Keashawna!” said Emily as she pulled out her phone.

“Emi! No! This could mean trouble!” Serena yelled.

“Um…” Mumbed Riley.

“It’s a fake book! Calm your horses!” Emily said as she pulled the book out.

“Guys I am here.” said Keashawna.

“Nice, now sit next to me.” said Emily. She started to say words and the whole house shook. Riley got scared really bad and moved closer to Serena. To be honest they all got scared. Then the lights when out…

“You’re doing this on purpose.” Serena said.

“I stopped a long time ago!” Emily said.

“Ok, now you’re just being funny.” said Serena.

“Um… guys look at the mirror…” said Riley in fear.  In the mirror there was word describing all of us… Libra - Serena, Leo - Emily, Scorpio - Riley, and Pisces - Keashawna.

“CUT IT OUT!” yelled Serena.

“Let’s just go to bed…” said Riley. So they went to bed and it was soon moring.

“Let’s get ready for school guys.” said Serena

“Ok…” said Keashawna.

“I don’t want to!” said Riley

“Come on Riley.” said Emily

“NO! I. DON’T. WANT. TO.” Riley exclaimed

“Fine, I guess you can stay home by yourself.” said Serena.

“YAY! No school!” Riley started doing her happy dance.

“Don’t be so happy, we’ll bring you your homework.” said Keashawna.

“Awww.” Riley said. So they left for school and Riley stayed home… Little did she know that it was a bad idea. Riley kept feeling like someone was watching her.

“I think I’m gonna get some sleep.” Riley said to herself.  She walked up the stairs and went to her room. She got in bed, but couldn’t fall asleep.

“This is worthless.” Riley said. She threw back the covers and got out of the bed. She was just about to walk out the door, when it slammed in her face.

“Whoa!” Riley tried to open the door but it wouldn’t budge.

“HEY! LET ME OUT!” she screamed.  She kept trying to get the door open, but it still wouldn’t move. She turned around and saw the window was open.
“I never opened it.” Riley said. She slowly walked over to it, and looked outside. She leaned over the edge of the window sill to check around the edge of the house. Before Riley knew what was happening, she was pushed out the window. She screamed all the way down. She saw she was headed for the metal point fence, but she knew she couldn’t stop herself from the fall. Tears running down her face, the metal fence went through her small, pale body. Blood seeping through her skin, she took her last and final breath. Eyes closing and air leaving her body, she died a painful death.

*********After school********

“Man! I hate the pacers.” Serena said.

“Doesn’t everybody?” Keashawna said. They both started laughing.  Emily stopped walking and was staring at the house.

“Hey,” Serena said, “What's wrong?” Emily pointed at Riley’s  window then to the fence. She had started crying.  Keashawna and Serena both stopped in there tracks. They saw Riley's mangled body, impaled by the metal fence post.  Serena pulled out her phone but, Emily stopped her.

“No. She’s already dead.” Emily said.

“We should have never let her stay here alone. We knew something was happening in this house.” Serena said. Someone must have called 9-1-1, because and ambulance came a few minutes after the girls saw Riley's body.  The neighbors all came out of their houses and comforted the three girls. The police checked the whole house and put that famous yellow crime scene, “Do not cross tape.”

“WHO COULD HAVE DONE THIS TO HER!” sobbed Emily.

“Oh, I know who! You! When you read that stupid cursed book!” yelled Serena.

“What?! You wanna blame me now!” Emily yelled back.

“GUYS! Now is not the time! We need to stick together… starting tomorrow. I have a date tonight.” said Keashawna. Little did they know the phantom force would strike back.
