~~Chapter 6:
Jeff was preparing a tray of food for Kayla down in the kitchen, Ben suddenly walked in to grab something from the fridge.
“Dude, your always in your room now! What's going on? Your taking trays of seconds to your room, and I saw these...” he held up Kayla's torn clothes “...in YOUR washing basket down in the basement!” Jeff kept calm.
“There probably Jane's, she could have mixed them with my clothes”
“And you have more hoody's than usual in your wash as well”
“So, it's been cold”
“But why would Jane mix her clothes with yours?”
“Why do you perve on Sally when Slender's not watching” Ben blushed as Jeff smirked, knowing he just BURNED Ben. Jeff started to walked up the stairs when Jane was chasing Sally. Sally bumped into Jeff, he went toppling down the stairs, he screamed in pain. Sally rolled down a couple of stairs and only got a bruise on her leg. But Jeff. Jeff swore he had broken some ribs. The tray was destroyed.
As Jane helped up Jeff, she was careful to not hurt him. She got him to hold her waist to keep his balance, but she as she did so, she saw Kayla. Staring from the top of the staircase. Kayla got the wrong idea, she fumed. Cried. Screamed. She held her hands to her heart and ran back to the room. She slammed it shut, and leaned against it. After a few minutes, she heard pounding on the door.
“Kayla. Please let me in?”
“Why should I? I can't believe you did that! After I gave myself to you. You just turn around and hold another woman in your arms!” she shouted. She stood up and opened the door. He saw her expression, anger, hatred, sadness. He began to cry himself.
“Kayla it's not what you thought-” her fist met with his face once more.
“How could you Jeff!?” she screamed at him and ran past him. He followed as fast as he could, ignoring the pain he was in. She stomped down the stairs, she was eyes by a few people. Not just because she was wearing Jeff's clothes, but because she was in there without them knowing. She stood there for a second at the bottom, she saw the little girl in a pink dress, she was in the arms of a very tall man, his skin fully white. He had no eye's. No nose. No mouth. She froze in terror. Jane was staring at her. She looked to her right, a boy with dark skin, a dark blue hoody and a bright blue mask with black holes for eye's, she stepped back into someone. She looked over she shoulder. A clown, a monochrome clown, his swirled cone nose, his back ruffled hair and feathers on his shoulders. Suspenders that clipped to black dress pants. Black ringed eye's. And a smile that would haunt her for all eternity. She screamed and made her way to the door. It was dark and raining outside. She looked back carelessly to see Jeff as she took one last step off the stairs. She made a break for it into the storming woods.
