Not Entirely Human

I looked into her human eyes. They were mocking me. Saying this is your fault. All your fault. She's dying. She's going to forget about you. She might as well you're barely even human.

6. I Don't Want To Forget You

The rest of the school day was pretty normal. I went home did my homework, ate dinner, and sat down in the living room to watch the tv. I heard a knock on the door which Mrs. Evans answered. I heard a familiar voice talking. It turned out to be Lilac.

Ajax: Lilac?

Lilac: Ajax!

Ajax: What are you doing here?
Lilac: I got a present for you!

Ajax: What?
She pulled out a box that was all wrapped up. I opened it up, and it was a bandana.

Lilac: It's a bandana to put over your mouth to hide your teeth.

Ajax: Wow! Thanks so much Lilac.

Lilac: That's not the only reason I'm here

Ajax: What?
Lilac: Ajax I wasn't in London
Ajax: What?

Lilac: I-i was in the hospital

Ajax: W-why were you there?
Tears started forming in her eyes. Seeing her cry was like torture to me.

Lilac: I-i have alzheimers

Ajax: No. This is a joke right?

Lilac: I don't want to forget you Ajax.

Ajax: No you're not going to forget me

Lilac: But I will Ajax.

Ajax: Think positively

Lilac: I'm sorry Ajax

Ajax: No! No! Lilac it's going to be okay!
