Outlier: Restart

To be honest with you all, the original series had abundance of unrelated information as well as large plot holes that ruined the series. Too much narration, unbalanced strength, and lack of proper setting establishment also played major role in ruining the entertainment. Therefore! Behold! The New series, Outlier: Restart, shall rectify the old standard!

19. Chapter 2: The Lord

Three Years Later...

"Don't slack off!" the senior members of the mercenary guild shouted at newbies.

"Why does he always make us work while he plays around?" I complained in low voice.

"I can hear you!" I flinched.

My name is Nival Lowndes, an (Half) Elf. I work here to pay off my debts.

"Be quiet, both of you!" someone shouted.

"General Hordes is coming soon!"

Everyone kept their mouth shut.

"How is it today?" General Hordes arrived.

"Everything is fine, sir!" even the mighty seniors could only beg to not get in a trouble.

General Hordes is the Level Six General in our community. Compared to us, who are only at Level Two to Level Four, he is at least hundred times more stronger than any one of us. So it is our (instinctive) duty to make sure that we would not create any problems with him. He seems to enjoy the advantage of being treated like this anyway.

"Today! I will announce this new policy!"

Everyone took a big breathe.

"Starting from today! I will allow you to take missions above Normal Missions!"

Some (including me) rejoiced because Special Missions pay us significantly more.

"But! At least seventy percent of the profit goes to me!"

"But why?" A person complained.

"!?" He was attacked before he could see the attack.

<Level Six - Elemental Body(Thunder)>

"I don't care whoever wants to complain about this new policy, but be prepared to die anyway," he left soon after.

"I thought that it was the only way to quickly pay for my debts..." I feel to my knees.
