2. Chapter 1: A Unique Child

It was a cold afternoon of Christmas when everything had began. The street with crowded with hundreds of people waiting for their portion of ration in the low district. The three districts in this society was low, middle, and high districts. There are hundred districts numbered differently to show the status of the citizens. The numbers one through thirty-three are the low district, the numbers thirty-four thorough sixty-six is known as middle strict, and numbers sixty-seven to ninety-nine is known as high district. The district one hundred is unknown by majority of the citizens. This area was place where citizens of District One citizens take their ration every month. They only supply each person with one week's worth of rations and there are only ten thousand available for citizen of hundred thousand. The riots were certain to occur.

"Phew! I am done with my work!" My name is Robert Lucedale and I work as the factory waste labor.

My work is basically carrying wastes that weight over hundred kilogram to the waste management factory, and it really is painful to do it on daily basis.

"Just few more months and I can pay off my debts," I whispered silently.

In low district, it is almost impossible to find a job that allows you to pay off debts including the interest off. However, I was fortunate enough to find a job that only I can do as harsh labor pays a lot because not many people have qualify for them. Why do I try this hard to pay off my debt? It isn't my debt but the debt of the church that I was raised since my birth. The headmaster donated her entire lifesaving to save the young children of this district.

"If only people like her increased..." I hoped.

I heard a cry of a baby in the nearby the street.

A baby, which seemed to be born recently, came upon my sight.

"I will take you to our church. It exists to save people like you," I took him to the church with the smile.

This was the beginning of the journey that ended the Rebellion Era.
