Harry had just come back from a stroll through the wooded area near the Burrow. He needed a while to just escape his mind and think about something else for a change. Nature was such a distraction to him. The lush aromas and beauty of it all, even in the night with just the cool moon for light. He entered back into the room he shared with Ron. Hermione was with Ron nestled against his chest sound asleep. This was not an unusual sight as every so often she would make an appearance when he came into the room late at night or woke up in the morning. Harry was happy for his two best friends. He was so glad they found a shimmer of happiness in each other during his somber time. He sunk down into his bed that sat next to Ron’s and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Ron woke up lying on his back face up at the ceiling. Hermione’s head was resting on his chest, she was still fast asleep. Ron began to run his hands through her hair as Harry rolled over in his bed.

“Morning mate.” chirped Harry.

“Hey.” replied Ron sleepily.

“I'm headed downstairs for breakfast, see you in a bit.” said Harry as he rose to his feet and stretched.

“Yeah see you.” replied Ron.

He walked out of the room as Hermione began to slowly open her eyes. She immediately cringed at the bright light peering through the shudders. She turned away from the light ad looked into Ron’s icy blue eyes. The pair interlaced their hands under the covers and smiled. The smiles quickly faded when they remembered what the rest of the day had in store. Today was the day of Fred’s funeral. The Burrow was going to be even more packed than usual as a lot of people were expected to come and mourn the loss.

“How are you doing this morning love?” Ron asked rising to his feet and shuffling through the draws  of his worn down dresser.

‘As good as I can be today I guess.” replied the tired Hermione standing up a swell and heading to the doorway.

“I am going to the washroom to freshen up a bit before I head down to breakfast.” she said as Ron walked over and pulled back strands of her thick bushy hair and paced a kiss on her cheek.

“I will see you in a few.” Ron called as Hermione walked down the hall towards the washroom. She brushed her teeth and attempted to tame the mess that was her hair, but ended up pulling it into a bun to deal with later. She splashed some water in her face in hopes to wake herself up a bit, and surprisingly it helped.

She made her way back to her room to see it completely empty. It appeared Ginny had already made her way to grab food. Which Hermione was anxious to do as it smelled delicious. She changed into clothes and met Ron at the top of the stairs.
