“Aye that would be nice said Danny.’

“Look mate I’ve got to go, I’ve got things to do.’

A car pulled up outside and Billy’s house. He went outside got behind the wheel of the driving instructors car then drove off. He was learning how to drive now. Billy spent four hours a day on driving lessons.

In two weeks he’d passed his driving test and had gone out and bought a second hand Ford Cortina from a friend’s garage. He bought second hand as he didn’t want to create suspicion from the neighbours as well as the police by buying a new one.

This one was an ex directors car and it had good mileage. He drove down to Blackpool to see his new shop which was right near the beach and he’d got it for a fraction of the price because he’d paid the old lady cash. Billy had a squad of painters and a sign writer put up the new sign which said:

The ovens were installed two days later. There was room for a sitting area where people could come and sit down and eat. Billy installed tables and chairs, a tea urn, and a coffee machine so they could have a cuppa with their meal. Then he drove to Gillian’s flat. He was wearing a new suit when he went into the flat to pick her up. She ran to him and kissed him and he held her in his arms. Billy helped her down stairs with her cases. It was with a touch of sadness that she was leaving the place where she had started her business to start a new life with Billy Royale. Billy asked if he could use the bathroom whilst she brought her last case down stairs. The boot of Billy’s car was open and the back seat had all of his belongings as Gillian waited outside. Billy pulled out a carrier bag from his pocket. He took the bath panel off then placed the jemmy, tape, and gloves and other tools he’d used for the robbery into the bag. He didn’t want any loose ends that would connect him to the cinema robbery. He placed them into the boot along with Gillian’s cases.

“Are you ready then love?’

“Yes she said as she slid into the car beside Billy.

“Now before we go a step further I need you to answer me a question.

“What do you want now Billy Royale. Billy took a box from his pocket then said “would you do me the great honour of being my wife.’ He opened the box and inside was a diamond ring.’

“Oh Billy you lovely man’ yes of course I’ll marry you.’

Billy slid the ring on the finger of her left hand then they kissed.

“Right then off we go to Blackpool.’

Billy drove away; he was the happiest man in the world. He had a gorgeous girl, a car, a business, and a lovely house. Soon he’d be married and that would make his life complete. He still had over three thousand pounds in a bank account taken out in Gillian’s name. She had the money from the shop and her flat and she couldn’t have been happier.

The look on her face when he gave her the spare keys to her new shop told a story in it’s self. She was crying with joy as she opened the door and went inside to gaze upon all her new ovens benches and stock needed to get her started.

“Billy Royale I love you.’

“I love you too princess.’ Come on I’ll show you our new house its not far from here.

Billy let Gillian lock up the shop and he got into the car.’

“Kiss me quick he laughed.’

Gillian duly obliged.
