19. Waiting

We waited in the corner farthest away from the hatch. I was up against the wall holding Hannah, and George was sitting right next to me, with John-Church on his lap. Again, my mind wandered off to Aaron and Charles. Oh, I should have told them more. I knew March to May was tornado season here in Georgia. How could I be so stupid? All I could think was sorry Mother over and over and over again. How could I ever forgive myself?
