13. The First Night

I instantly felt better when I saw him, but knowing I still had to do the dishes, I began to past him into the kitchen. He grabbed my arm.

"There's no other girl like you, Angelica. You and me, let's have some fun." He said.

"I know your intentions are right." I said.

"Shhh, I know, I know." He began.

"But I need to do the dishes."

"Shhh, I know, I know." He repeated.

"I can make work fun." He said, as he opened his mouth, and began to sing.
