Well, I have my typical vampire bad boy.

Author's Note: There will be some mature (*coughs) scenes in this story. But nothing too extreme, trust me. That's a promise.

7. Chapter Five: Bought by Brahms Cavallo

After waking up in a room that was not familiar, and a bloody vampire bite mark on my neck-I knew I was in a very bad situation. I was taken to a dressing room, in which I just found out that I was now in a slave market for vampires. The vampire make-up artist even told I was the prettiest yet. She forced me to wear a black sweater that went below my bottom and socks that went up to my thighs. Yes, I looked cheap and desperate.

She happily told me that I was going to fetch a good price. I felt humiliated and my pride has been beaten at its worse. I wished they could have left me some dignity. I, now, stood in line with all the other girls who seemed pretty experienced with this. The vampire man at the desk was asking-no, demanding for their name.

All the other girls were bruised and pale. Shivers ran up my spine getting the idea of what they had been through. I was sure some of the girls were younger than me. It scared me that this could be the reason of Destanie's absence. Maybe this is my chance to look for her. The police did not want to help me. It was like they were hiding something from me.

"Name?" The vampire growled at me.

I hesitated. I didn't want to tell him my real name. "Lucille De La Fontaine, " I answered. It was the name of my favorite character from my favorite novel, Lady De La Fontaine of France. He wrote my fake name down and I was pushed forward closer to the red-curtained stage. Then a vampire man gestured to the stage. I swallowed and walked onto it. Spotlights shone brightly on me. I squinted my eyes and it focused. I was in a black room and many round tables were covered in white cloth. There were a lot of pale, handsome men in crisp black suits. What freaked me out the most was the amount of young girls pleasing them.

"Lucille De La Fontaine. Grade A blood," the announcer said, and added, "starting at $120,000!"

My eyes wandered deeper at the men. I saw lust in their eyes. They lusted after my blood and body. I felt cheap and so..........disgusted with myself and everything. I was being sold for $120,000 or more.

As I looked at the men carefully, my eyes landed on a man who sat next to another man. Realization hit me hard. My jaw dropped all the way to hell and back. There sat Brahms Cavallo looking suave in his suit, staring at me with surprise.

I knew I was suppose to hope that no one would buy me, but somehow I was wishing to the ends of the world that Brahms would. I knew him! The only person I knew among these vampires! Wait......vampires.....why the duck is he here..........unless.....he is a......vampire.

Feeling shocked, I went speechless and found it hard breathe properly. Brahms raised his hand and the man next to him said something to him. The announcer smiled at him and said, "$130,000! Anyone?"

"$150,000!"

"$170,000!"

"$250,000!" Brahms said, glaring at the man across the room.

Wow, I never knew I was worth $250,000. Then I was taken off the stage to the backstage. A lot of eyes were on me. I followed a man into a luxurious room. My heart beat faster knowing that I was bought by Brahms and I was going to see him soon.

I felt embarrassed to be standing in a revealing clothes such as this! I looked up when Brahms walked in. He glared at me and I wanted the ground to swallow all of me. He was angry. Again. I watched as he signed his name onto a paper and he grabbed onto my wrist roughly. I winced and followed him out of the slave auction place. As soon as I stepped out of the place, I shivered because the freezing cold wind wrapped my body like a second layer of skin. It was dark and very much different from the world I used to know. I didn't know where I was, but deep in my heart I trusted Brahms to keep me safe.

He pulled me to his car and opened the door for me. I got in and turned to him when he got in. I asked him a question I've been dying to ask.

"Do you have any food?" I asked, blushing slightly. I haven't eaten any food for an very long time. He frowned at me and shook his head.

"Is that what you say after I bought you for $250,000?" He asked, his voice getting louder. I glared at him and said, "I didn't ask you to buy me, did I?"

He started the car up and said, "I told you to stay out of Lerwick! You promised me that you wouldn't go back!" His voice was rough and it drove me crazy. Feeling as angry as he was, I yelled back.

"And leave my mother and sister behind?!" I took a deep breath and said, "That's the only reason why I'm here. The police wouldn't help me find them. How could two people just disappear? They're the only thing I have left in my life, Brahms. I'm not like you. I don't have fifty tons of cash to keep me occupied. They're the only reason I'm this good girl. I know what it feels like to lose a family member and I did many things. I don't want to be like that; I don't want to feel like that again." I wiped my tears away with the back of my hands.

Brahms sighed and asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Family is something I don't really talk about. My family is so imperfect and good times were something hard to find in mine. I have to find my sister and bring her back home. I have to find my mother and give her a better life. I want her to see me get into that business boarding school in Scotland," I said, remembering the day I promised her that I would.

He nodded and drove ahead onto the dark road. I leaned my head on the window and suddenly asked, "Will you hurt me, Brahms?"

I knew that he heard my question. But he didn't answer. I lifted my head up and looked at him. The moonlight shone on his pale face showing all the perfections. He truly was handsome, mysterious, confusing, bad, and all of those things just made me want to unravel the mysteries in him.

He looked at me and said, "Not intentionally." And he turned his attention back onto the road. I swallowed and leaned my head back on the window.

"Now that I'm your slave, will you treat me like the other slave girls?" I asked, looking at him.

His eyes found mine and he asked, "Do you want me to?"
