“I still like you. I don’t want you gone.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“I don’t want to see you hurt. I want to see you feeling great…”
“Life just constantly feels like shit.”

11. 11/19/16

Only three people had shown up to my birthday party.

But Noah was there, he seems to make everything okay.

In the beginning we watched old DVDs.

The pizza was ready.

Cohl steals some off my paper plate.

We watch The Breakfast Club.

Noah, the film junkie, has never seen this cult classic.

We end up playing with legos.

Cohl punches Nick in the balls.

Eventually things settle down.

Nick leaves because he has work in the morning.

We watch my favorite movie.

“So this is called Moonrise Kingdom. It’s a Wes Anderson film, just like The Grand Budapest Hotel.”

The Grand Budapest Hotel is one of Noah’s favorites.

Under a red throw blanket, I am close to Noah.

Close enough to feel his breath.

It feels nice to know not many have been here.

The thought itself is selfish.
