The World Was Wide Enough

Hamilton fanfiction
This story is similar to how things really went, but a few of the couples are different. The story is also told from many people's perspectives.

Yellow for death because of war and duels. Also the Reynolds Pamphlet was a thing...

25. Twenty-three

Angelica's POV

Months later, our child was born. We had a little baby girl! I was so happy that we had a little girl. We decided to name her Theodosia because I just really liked that name.

I haven't seen Alex much lately. He's been too busy writing. He helped write the Federalist Papers. He wrote it with John Jay and James Madison. There were 85 essays that they wrote, Alex wrote 51 of them.

Eliza told me that Alex is going to get some political power. George Washington was going to be president and Alex was going to be the Secretary of the Treasury in his cabinent, whatever that was.

Since Burr didn't get into any politics quite yet, we decided to go to London for a little bit. Burr said he needed to get away from all of this madness. I knew he was a little jealous of the fact that Alex got to be in charge of something and he didn't.

I was going to miss Alex and Eliza while we were in London, but Burr and I had already made plans to come back next summer. I was glad because I didn't really want to go to London so I was hoping we wouldn't stay for long.

The day before we went to London, Theodosia, Aaron, and I went over to the Hamilton's house to tell them our plan and to say goodbye.

"Eliza, we're here to say goodbye," I said once she let us in and all 6 of us were sitting at the table. Well technically it was just the four of us sitting, Theodosia was in my arms and Philip was in Eliza's.

"Where are you going," She asked me.

"London," Burr answered for me.

"For how long," Alex asked.

"Just until next summer," I said.

"We're going to miss all three of you so much," Eliza said.

"We'll miss you too," I said.

"Angelica, I've wanted to ask you this for a while now, but have you heard from Peggy recently," Eliza asked me.

"Actually, I haven't. Have you been to dad's house to go talk to her," I asked her back.

"No, but I really should. It's been a long time since I've talked to her."

"Well, we should get going. There's still a lot of packing to do. And Eliza, when you go to dad's please tell him where I've gone. And please write me about Peggy," I said.

"I will. Goodbye Angelica," Eliza said as she gave me a one armed hug from her seat. I then stood up and walked over to Alex.

"Goodbye Alex, don't forget to write," I said as he stood up and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
